Yes there is 8 Series nd i once went to BMW showroom
i saw one 8 series there, was in immaculate condition bt
the owner was asking way too much..almost the price of new
330CI...

one of my neighbors in dxb used to own a red 8 series... [94-96]... after that i didn't hear about it... most of the ppl even didn't know that it exists.....

I have experiance driving 850CSi back in 2003 ...... its a pretty good car but maintenance is too much ... like it has only 59,000 miles on which its driver side window, mirror and seat heater are not working ... it was yellow in color v12 exactly like one in picture.

picture you posted is M10 prototype..... its might receive v10 engine with approximately 550HP. competing against R8 and Gallardo.

The 850CSi was the best of the 8-series, it was the closest thing to an M8.

I never had the opportunity to drive one of these. There are quite a few available for sale in the US though. According to industry sources, there was one M8 produced which was a production candidate not a concept. Well, as we all know, it never made it to production. It was based on 850CSi engine with a little more displacement producing over 500hp.

There was one up for sale in Lahore a year back or so. The front was damaged when it apparently hit Liberty roundabout.
Not sure if its still available ..

I also read somewhere that BMW is planning the new 8 series as a 4 door coupe -- to rival Merc CLS.
btw, where abouts in Indy are ya? I was in West Lafayette for like 3 years ..

1 of my Saudi friend used to have BMW-850 it was so powerful that it could pick up from 0kmph in 4th gear too.

I think its a BIG sports car. Awesome ride for those old days.
