Did you check the clutch adjustment? It might happen because of loose clutch/chain.

Clutch housing me fault ha kisi ne pakwheels prr btaya tha k iss ko ya to kharadiye se sahi karwa lein nahi to aik taiwan clutch housing ati ha market me wo lagwa lein masla theek ho jay ga....
Lekin iss me koi tension wali baat nahi ha aisay hi chalai jaien jab kabi clutch wali side khuli tab sahi karwa lein.

Ni sir abi 70 km chla ha ...compny setting ha sab kuch ... and clutch wegra seems ok ...like gare me gari ho and clutch close kia ho ..koi pick ni ati ... and clutch slowly se chorn or bilkul lite c race dn tab feel hota ha k jesy kuch slip hua ho engine se ... but jab chl jata ha tab sab ok hota ha ...

Get it checked on service dealer at 1st tuning. Am sure it is because of loose clutch/chain. Nothing serious!

Sir my 2 Friend's own CG 2015 they also have the same problem and they were told by the honda mechanics that it's totally a normal sound you can check any bike from the showroom all have this noise there is some design fault in clutch housing from factory.
They offered them free change of clutch housing with taiwanese one and assured them about the noise that it will be gone after replacement and 1 friends took that risk and bingo his bike is now fine no sound like that while releasing clutch.

My bike also has the same problem its a 2011 CG and also a mechanic told me that you can change the clutch housing or remake your old one from a lathe worker if you are annoyed by the noise.... If you are ok with this noise it will not harm any thing.

Pre 2010 model's were far better build.. He owns a 2007 CG.
In our group my 2 Friend's have CG 2015 1 have CG 2012 and 2 have 2008 and 2009 CG.

The friends having 2008 and 2009 models are enjoying the ride of their bike's they have no problems at all... And all others including me are facing the similar problem related to clutch it makes sound as of a slipping gear if we release it real slow and moderately. if we release it with jerk then there is no sound.

Well r1 sir have a lot of riding experience and know better than me....

But now adays its a common fault in CG due to lack of quality control by Atlas Honda. And some of their mayanaz engineers.

Apparently, you've never heard a Harley Davidson changing gears!
Harley ki awaz sunoo ga to apni CG ki sub "krick-*****" bhool jao ga...!
It's quite normal, brother... As a matter of fact, I have yet to ride a motorcycle that doesn't make any knocking sounds while shifting...
Just change oil after 1,000kms and don't rev the engine beyond 5,000rpm within the run in period and your bike would be fine...

Brother it's not what you understand....
that noise comes when one loose the clutch not because of gear shifting.
