who said that? the difference in avg of the two cars is negligble if we compare the comfort, ride and the hassle of selling civic and buying a mehran. You do know the cost of new mehran right?
I have given it a thought many times but its simply not worth it. And on CNG, its mileage is equally or better than a mehran...

Also understand, we are taking about a 10year old civic worth hardly 1milion. Not a brand new 2.5m car

Dear! I don't know why you people don't want to understand the real situation. Nobody talks about misuse or overuse of gas at homes. Wherever gas is available, people are using it like hell. 2 or 3 geysers and 3 or 4 heaters in a single house is acceptable for you people and a single CNG station in a whole area looks nuisance for you. I admit gas should be available for cooking but we can survive w/o heaters and geysers. I'm not using geyser and heater at my home because i can survive w/o these. Traveling and conveyance is as important for you as food,clothes and shelter because w/o movement you can't earn anything. Why don't the Govt reduce the petrol prices by 20 % 25% in these two months in order to provide relief to the poor people?? Tell me one thing why doesn't the gas pressure reduce in the summer when all cng stations are open? It's the heavy misuse or overuse of gas at domestic/commercial level which is responsible for this gas shortage. I hope you'll get my point.

Come on, lets visit as many homes in Rawalpindi Saddar, westridge and as many as u want in Islamabad G 9,10,11 sectors.

Aajao mai dikhaun kitna aala pressure aa raha hai gas ka CNG band honay k baad. Band hai na CNG 1 month se? Kitni daigain paka lete ho aap rozana is pressure pay?

Shame on people like you who support shameful acts of the Government to elude the consequences of mismanagement and corruption!

just came from khawari from rwp as pesh road was block took 2 hrs to reach back home so much traffic diverted on mini road

and burn alot of petrol

I got stuck in traffic due to cng guys aswell... 2k ka loss ho gya muft mai.. Was taking my fj for engine swap.. Got stuck aur engine jis se lene jana tha usne kisi aur ko baich dia..

had to go from kharian to pindi to drop off someone at the airport and guess what when I reached Sarai Alamgir at 5am I saw neon signs of CNG. thought just the signboard was ON. then saw a Hiace getting out. stopped asked the guy is CNG open. he said yes. lolz. challo ferr ki. in Rs 650 or less went from Jhelum till pindi and back to kharian. same journey would have costed 1500-1700. got the cylinder filled again on way back. no real rush as it used to be coz I think many never believed it could be open lolz. khair loads of CNG were open till pindi. will also be open tomorrow as per the guy at the dispenser. for a salaried person like me using a 1000 CC alto it was a straight 1000 saving or so. in the last 15 days I had to spend 8k alone on petrol. make that 15k a month which is like 25% of my pay on petrol alone. now please don't go on saying I should use a bike instead lolz. im driving a 1000CC 7 yr old Alto for God's sake. cant buy a hybrid lolz.

Tarnol have cng station open where else in islamabad?

all cng stations on Muree road and Islamabad express way are open...also in Pindi cng stations in satellite town are also filling cars...

cng station in bahria town was also opened but bahria authorities have shut down cng due to low pressure...

not sure...but pumps on xpressway are opened and on last two lanes which are reserved for heavy traffic are full from queues for cng stations

aise he halaat koral chowk se kaleem cng station tak k b hain due to long queues for cng stations...alot of petrol is wasting in a patch of 3-4 km and almost take 25-35 mins only to cross that patch...

people not only parked their cars on road but also gathered beside their cars in groups for discussion...and making the road more narrow for trucks and cars without thinking that how much they are disturbing traffic and for their cng how much fuel of every other car and truck passing from that area is wasting due to them...

2 wrongs can't make a single right, and should never be the basis for the third wrong, i try to educate people about gas and to use instant water heaters instead of big ones, i also try to educate people not to misuse any resource, if one can afford 1.5m brand new car, then one should be able to afford its running costs too.. however CNG should be encouraged as GREEN fuel not as CHEAP fuel
