Gone off topic, Government said it will file the review petition and won't be allowing gas for the CNG. It is leading to a total disaster specially keeping in mind the increase of petrol prices from January 1st, 2014.

we,as a nation,have become habitual of misusing stuff. we will take cars out instead we should walk even to take bread from one,2 kms distance. we will eat while AC is on inside our car parked in a shade. plus CNG should never have been introduced in vehicles.cars should have been kept on petrol,so only those who could afford a petrol driven car should buy one. GOVT on the other hand should have made better local transport system so people,instead of taking car out just for single person, should rely on local transport. we even dont plan our route/errands...
GOVT being dumb,launched CNG buses thingy,i mean you are already hanging by a thread with this natural resource,why would some one with a pinch of brain go for such a ludicrous idea!
not to mention,gas geysers that we keep on all the time,even when we are not using it.for a shower,ok granted,one should turn it on,but then turn it off when you are done.for the rest of the day,all you gonna do is wash your hand and face or wipe your **** which can be done with cold water i mean when whole gas reserve is gone,youll be doing it anyway so practice now !
gas heaters should be used to minimal,instead why not wear some warm clothes..or better yet,do jumpin jacks,that helps in loosing fats and keeping body warm

The update
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered that CNG stations will remain open for three days a week in all areas of the twin cities.The court today (Monday) issued a detailed judgment pertaining to opening of CNG stations in Potohar Region including Rawalpindi and Islamabad.It is pertinent to mention here that the government had decided to close all CNG stations in Punjab from November to January to ensure supplies to domestic consumers during winter.Later, owners of the CNG stations called the decision unfair and challenged it in the court.The court adjourned the hearing till third week of February.

also finally i'll be able to throttle n enjoy,once u floor,fuel needle drops crazy,havent crossed 3k rpm,max speed of 60,well that increased my avg by 2kmpl as well

btw how much is the increase in petrol price from 1jan?

Please, do not misuse the fuel, driving with light foot will surely get the job done and it'll save the fuel, I used to drive crazy too but for now driving on below 2K RPM and maximum speed of 60!

Yeah Allah and His Prophet like business but the business of transport which our people are running is not halal
Why you ask?
Because they are charging rates of diesel while they make huge profits by driving on CNG

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday allowed 77 CNG stations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad to operate two days a week, paving way for hundreds of other outlets in the twin cities to get a similar relief.
However, an official of the gas distribution company, said the relief would disturb the supply of natural gas to the domestic consumers and the government would file an appeal against the ruling next week.
It may be noted that in November 2011 the IHC had granted a similar relief to the CNG stations but later withdrew it after the government challenged the verdict.
On December 2, the government suspended the supply of gas to the CNG stations in the Pothohar region for three months citing shortage of gas to meet the rising domestic demand in the winter. On Friday, IHC Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui issued the order after the 77 CNG station owners challenged the government decision. The court directed the government to restore the previous schedule of supplying gas to the petitioners for two days a week.
Qamar Afzal, the counsel for the petitioners, argued that the government had not issued any formal notification and unilaterally suspended the gas supply.

He said the Council of Common Interests (CCI) had also not yet approved the decision and a summary in this regard was still pending before the prime minister.
He said the CNG station owners had already been under severe financial crunch and the three months gas closure had increased their problems. It has become impossible for them to meet their expenses.
Advocate Afzal added that previously the government had allowed the CNG sector to remain open for three days in a week. Later, it decreased the duration to just two days. But the complete suspension of gas supply is unfair to the business community and the employees of the CNG sector. He said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was providing gas to the CNG sector but the federal government had stopped the supply in Punjab and Islamabad.
He requested the court to declare the government decision unlawful. Further hearing of the matter has been adjourned till the second week of February.
Javed Khan, the general manager of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL), told Dawn that due to the shortage of gas the government had decided to close the CNG stations. He said the first priority of the government was domestic consumers

You know what, It won?t make even a bit of difference for me as even with load shedding, we spend entire day with zero gas pressure. kid cries as electric heaters don?t work, family members complain that geezers remain off for most of the day specifically starting from 6:00a.m to 11:30 p.m and worst of all, we cant cook without LPG and that we live in one of the best localities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

This is not how a sensible governments behave, I would not had complained if I knew problem was temporary. With 500 million dollar loan cancelled from Iran for all the right reasons, I am kind of pissed off.

This is a drama, they can?t cope-up with petrol prices sending enormous amount of foreign exchange for petrol and neither can do anything to enhance the Natural gas production.

They just waiting for things to become even more worst.

Iran reserves as of available data of 2012 1046 Trillion cubic feet Ranked 2nd world wide.I am sure actual numbers of cars on CNG in Pakistan will be higher. Pakistan has to explore not only the conventional gas reserves but also the shale gas. all that only possible by overseas exploration firms.

agreed cng stations closed for unlimited time but no gas for homes not even for cooking...today even at 12am there was no gas at home

while returning home saw a huge line of cng,BUT there's no cng,it was around 6:25am n cng wasnt even open n it still isnt,they said we dont know if its gonna open or when its gonna open...

so seems even though IHC gave its verdict but govt is still stubborn enough to give cng.

2.3k is really very slow,i have been driving at n under 2k so i know lol
driving at 2k only uses n burns extra fuel,ask xulfiqar so i started shifting upto 2-3k n car seems so much fast now when i go upto speed of 60 instead of just 40
i changed my style even when cng was open
though one day i was on expressway n i did enjoyed but even that was till 3-4k shifts lol also a little enjoyment burns up alot of fuel n all ur efforts of saving fuel go in waste

they should be banned in 100 meter radius of any cng station...

i always see hiaces at cng stations,they got a dedicated line where no other car comes

i think CNG should b banned permanently.it has now become a curse for our country.even cooking food in winter is not easy...90% CNG owners are theives they are just extractin gas from earth and selling and almost paying nothing to govt.so "FASAAD KI JARR" should b finished.transport mafia is another issue arised due to cng.whoever wanna drive car, he/she should buy petrol and drive and if she/he cant afford petrol then ride a GS150(for males) and scooty(for females)..............thats all my lord
