Hey Nomi, yeah been out around isloo, but mainly went for hunting so took to the tracks and not proper offroading.

well its an 85 FJ60, B3 under the hood. am not much technical so dunno what else to tell you, lol.

planning to bring some performance improvements to it, but need an expert to tell me what needs to be modified/ improved. will request one of the experienced IJC members to help after Ramadhan, insha Allah

Thats a beauty and a very powerful machine. do its front and rear diff work? i can see a winch on it too. operational?

lots of experts here on the forum. best is to start a new thread to get advice on specifics.

thanks mate :). yup, the winch works great. honestly dunno much about the differentials :P, just learned the theory from wiki, but dunno in practice. have a feel though that they do work, lol.

yup, did consider starting a thread seeking guidance for my fj60, but concluded it would help only if i bring up the problem and ask for a solution. i guess it would be even better to let an expert IJC member drive it and tell me of the areas for improvement :).

well i would sugges you a 1kz engine bec its simple and lighter powerfull .simple is good in offroading the simple the better in outskirts areas.

On Sunday 23 rd Aug 09, one of our friend Bilal Haq went for Offroading alone & got stucked in Mud.

1kz is diesel and new modle of b3 u can say its lighter efficent and quik response not like b3. shoba bazar peshawar is the best place to look for u can give ur old engine and add some money and buy this one .
