Its a TLC 70 series Pickup with traybed, heavily modified for the purpose of touring.

I said 75 coz that is still in production in NZ and other countries so it was most likely since it is coming from OZ but as you said, it doesn't matter - it is from 70 series nonetheless.

The model designate of LC pick-ups was initially 75series, this changed to 79series in late 90s (when the front leaf springs were replaced by coil springs). B, H, F obviously are engine designates.

Our fellow Pakwheeler Fouad Hafeez has FZJ79, so do Nadir Magsi and Zafar Magsi! I myself nearly got a HJ79 before going for NPP, as the ride was much more comfortable, and drive was also a lot less truck like comparatively!

Interesting rig, to say the least. I love the way space in the rear has been maximised...for which, a Troopie would obviously have to be cut to ribbons, and wasted. Makes me want to do nasty things to my FZJ79.

Who knows...my next project very well MAY be a widened, lengthened mobile "crib" in the rear of my Loader. "Next" project being a subjective term, of course. IF I manage to finish off the @#$%ing projects that I already have on my plate, that is!
