Islamabad Motorcycle Transfer of Ownership. Is biometric required?

Aslam o alikum

I have a CG125 on my name. Its Islamabad registered

Now I am selling it. Do I need to provide biometric to seller for bike too? I know its required for a car.

Also, can I download, Forms from excise website, print and fill them, or do I need to get them through excise?

Any help will be required in this regard from someone who recently sold/bought Islamabad registered bike

I might be wrong but as far as I remember the Fedral registration is still in ancient times.. and doing every thing old school, not to mention that the fedral licensing authority is the only one left which still isue driving license without a driving test (if u know what I mean)

Not any more, you do need biometric verification for selling/purchasing a vehicle or motorbike. The procedure is very simple seller won’t have to visit the Excise and Taxation Office for biometric verification. Can be done at any NADRA office where you can receive the receipt issued for the ETO. It's better to do it to keep yourself on a safe for any dispute or mishap.

I am still using my Balochistan registered vehicles and motorbikes in Lahore. Never had any problem and no plan of selling.

i transferred my GS500 on my name recently
only sign on TO form + id card required

no biomet requirement for bike transfer in federal

Update: I sold it and confirmed from excise

Biometric is not needed for bike

Ps. I downloaded the forms from their website, filled and handed over to Buyer.

Now biometric is required for bike as well
