Islamabad to Kumrat - Road conditions, advise and suggestions

Planning for Kumrat for about 5 days from Islamabad on Honda City 2015 -- what route to take, what is the road condition, rush situation, any recommendations, insights please? Boys only trip

feed back was that the road is terrible and they cursed each other on the way

The last 50kms patch from Sheringal to Kumrat is total offroad with gravel at few points. Better hire a 4x4 or be prepared for a rough & bumpy track
