I'd partly blame the activists too for the loss of life.. More than delivering the goods to Gaza in itself, they wanted to make a political statement, which they effectively did, but at the loss of precious lives... And thats not what I'm saying, thats actually what their representative said while interviewed that even if they fail to deliver the goods, that wouldn't be much of an upset, as in the process of doing so, they will have successfully drawn the worlds attention to the region and will have highlighted the issues therein...

Secondly, they should have known that what they really are dealing with is effectively a terrorist state - being funded by the super power of the world i.e. the US of A and having the back of organizations such as the UN - who wouldn't think twice to pull the triggers on them.. Israel is well known for its war crimes and the atrocities that it has been perpetrating since the inception of the zionist state... However, it should be borne in mind, not all Jews are bad people, just like not all Muslims are good.. there are many Jewish activists who actually have real sympathies with the people of palestine.. its actually the zionists that are the real SOBs

As for the neutered pakistani government doing something in this regard, so someone's got to be kidding me.. I guess you guys dont know that your govt. quite effectively plays into the hands of these p[eople.. all their bravado and machismo is saved only for their fellow countrymen..:rolleyes:

and lastly, will someone kindly change the title of this thread? its quite misleading to say the least... I guess there's no need to exaggerate and sensationalize the situation - like the indian news channels do - by the use of such hyperbole.. Brother I respect your opinion but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.You have to look things both ways.I understand you have deeper feelings for muslim brothers as you are one but I look at things at an unbiased point of view.Sure Israel was very wrong when it attacked Gaza recently and committed attrocities but do remember that the attack wasn't initiated at nothing.Hamas did fire those rockets into Israel.I dont care whether you agree with me or not,but people were also killed in Israel.However I do agree that Israel's response was very harsh and that shouldn't have happened.

By "looking at the things both ways", you, my friend, would have essentially known that in the recent offensive on Gaza, it was their - the israeli - loss of only 9-10 soldiers against the lives of over 1400 innocent civilians - more than about 800 of which were women and children - on the Gazan side... speak of collateral damage.. :rolleyes:

You better join the UN, you'll have a bright future there.. there's diplomacy emanating from your posts coupled with a hint of predisposition for doing nothing..add a tinge of duplicity to the mix and you'll definitely make a great UN representative..
