i think a charcol canister is part of every efi petrol engine. somebody must have stolen it like cat cons are stolen in here from vehicles. look for an identical car among your family and friends check carefully engine bay. you can find the missing item instantly.

btw the QC sticker from meter cluster is there in a 3 year old car does it relate to resale of vehicle

I dint know about charcol cannister in petrol cars. Thats new addition in my knowledge. But its strange that the error has gone with repairing the meter.

I bought the car a year ago and even those plastic covers were on seats which has yellow QC passed stickers on it. May be it was a resale trick by previous owner. Steering is titled down mostly when I drive so QC sticker on meter is hidden behind steering wheel. Never bothered to remove it.

Thanks! Yes my car has eyes again. Had to refill 1000 petrol every day for daily commute and had to follow another car on motorway to avoid over speeding.

Relieved in sense that the fault is traced and rectified. Had to hear local mechanics observations ranging from changing ECU, fuel pump, tuning ka masla.

Arshad electrician contact no incase some needs it. Saw high end cars like mercs, bmw and range rovers there too. They do all the electric work related to sensors, programming and transmissions.
