Itinerary advice: Fairy Meadows, Hunza, Shimshal, Khunjerab, Deosai

Lol Sir every year lots n lots of foreign tourists come to Pakistan. Pakistani people always welcomed them open heartedly

Not doubting the Pakistani people, but looking at the numbers, Pakistan gets about as many foreign tourists as Nepal and way less than New Zealand or India. Anyway, that’s straying too far from the thread topic, especially since an NOC isn’t actually required any more.

Based on advice here and elsewhere I am thinking that Deosai might be too ambitious in terms of the time we have. So here’s another itinerary that keeps the driving per day to reasonable levels and gives us some time to walk/hike too.

Day 1: Islamabad to Naran

Day 2: Naran to Lulusar & Babusar to Karimabad

Day 3: Hike Ultar Meadows. If we have time, visit one of the forts

Day 4: Visit Nagar valley and Hopar glacier. Also Altit and/or Baltit fort if not done on day 3.

Day 5: Visit Khunjerab and stay in Pasu.

Day 6: Boating in Attabad Lake. Hike to Borit lake. Visit glacier. Night in Karimabad

Day 7: Drive to Naltar valley. Hike to the lake(s). Night in Gilgit

Day 8: Gilgit to Rama Meadows. Hike to lake. Stay the night at PTDC

Day 9: Drive to Raikot Bridge. Then to Fairy Meadows

Day 10: Hike to Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Night at Fairy Meadows

Day 11: Fairy Meadows to Raikot Bridge to Chilas or Naran

Day 12: Drive to Islamabad

What do you guys think about this plan? Is it better or worse than my original one? Any pros or cons of this plan?

Pros:

Less costly as 4x4 only required for naltar valley

Lesser travelling and reduced fatigue

Cons:

Deosai would be missed

This plan may reduce expense upto 25 percent as compared to original one. As you need jeep for naltar and fairy meadows only. Exclusion of shimshal will save handsome amount.

This itinerary is good. Ofcourse Deosai woud be missed but its whole another tour may be some other time

Sir, Here's my small advice. You havent spared a day for rest. You'll need a day to recover your energy and take a break from continuous travelling. You can set it between day 6 to day 8
