Jitna tang vitz/belta karti hai on normal petrol (87ron) i doubt koi aur garri karti hai, whereas it's only rated for 89ron.
Anyways, it would have been better if you had tried to think before posting, how can normal petrol, which is 87RON in pakistan, have a noticeable effect on a car rated at 89Ron. It won't. Atleast till 100k km. Except for a little knocking, that to near engines maximum load, which is absolutely normal. Because the power will definitely vary.
But jee plug urr gaye ya head tout gaya,that is not possible, unless he feeds the car "matti ka teel" for petrol, then i can't say.
Ab definitely un bhai sahab ki bhi garri main fault ki waja koi aur ho ge, par je, jaahil mechanic ne keh dia ke sir tussi 'high uctaanne" nai dilwaya see na is waja tou gaddi kharab ho gaye. Lo ji in bhai sahaab ne yaqeen kar lia. Cause obviously he has better things to do in life, then look into the actual cause of the fault, which his family's trust worthy mechanic or ustaad has diagnosed and managed to erase..
I respect your opinion, and no doubt toyota is the winner in car sales, and might even produce robust cars. But still coming to the mirage forum and writing the same, vitz main tou ye hai, vitz tou ye hai. It doesn't look good. This is a mirage owners and fan club. Not a vitz vs mirage ya toyota vs mitsubishi forum. So please sir is my humble request to keep it that way.

Sir jee no offense taken. I already mentioned this that no offense to mirage owners. And you are absolutely wrong regarding k vitz tang kerti hai. I have driven my second gen vitz 1.0L 200k km with on regular petrol. It's running like a champ. Yes it knocks but it doesn't stop nor break down no matter where ever I take it. I have driven this vehicle on the dirtiest roads of Lahore and is currently driven in daroghawala where orange line is being made udher road ka naam o neeshan hi nahi hai. Jin ki vitz farigh hoti hai wo oil tuk nahi change keratay hoo ge.

Regarding on the post I commented, the problem diffently seems from petrol usai pehle tu theek hi hoo gi as it seems from the comment.

My point actually was that many members comment that k yaar mirage bhi vitz jaise hi garri hai pata nahi loog kiun 2 lakh extra de k wo lele letay hain, the reason to this is the reliability of Toyota and awesome aftermarket support available. I have 3 JDMS all Toyota in my home all above 150k+ km driven, kept 3 generation of vitz all are on roads 24/7.
Mirage is a good car but saying k ji ye 2 lakh sasti hai and vitz bekaar hai doesn't make sense at all.

Mirage is a decent car for its money and one day I will buy it and take it to daroghawala, dekh ta hoo k ye kitni maar khati hai in fact we need a new car now tu I may consider mirage now because bohat vitz chala li hai[emoji14]

Lastly regarding where I should comment or not it's my personal will and Pakwheels is an open forum and mene mirage hi ko discuss kiya hai bhai jaan itna emotional honay ki zarorat nahi

As pointed out earlier, this thread was never about mirage vs vitz but of course both being the same category it was but natural that people started doing it. Still gladly the debate remained ethical and no vitz bashing was done. Only pros and cons were discussed.
Yes it's a free world and vitz at 1.4 million for a 3 year down 1.0 L might make good value for money to you but for others it might not and that was the primary reason I personally didn't go for it.
If we're gonna strictly discuss comparisons between these 2 then surely we'll be needing another thread for that and then we can go on all day. But we must stick to mirage discussions here so that current and aspiring owners can benefit. I'm positive neither you nor I or anyone else comes on these forums for negativity but to help and learn.

Yes bro it's cool here. Just was discussing that many members have stated before that vitz is sluggish or what not so I was just clearing some heads k why that car being sluggish is popular in Pakistan. Rest JDM FTW may it be Vitz, Passo or Mirage.

Well ill agree to both your points. Vitz is popular and it is sluggish but of course in 1.0L category 0-100 times are never the priority. Vitz is no doubt a good and decent car but our current duty structure just somehow doesn't justify it's current price tag to me. Peace

Yes currently, the price of vitz has gone insanely high. I bought mine more then a year go for 13.8 lakhs 4 grade 22k driven with push start, alloy rims etc. Now the same car costs 14.5+ and this is indeed not justified. One can get city or add more and go for Aqua, or passo and mirage can counter this.

All i suggested, just suggesting as i definitely am nobody to dictate, was for you to pause and think if petrol could actually cause such mechanical issues. A difference of 2/3 RON from the manufactures recommended octane rating.
And you would have realised how small of a chance there is of such an occurrence.

Lastly I just wanted to clear that I had no such intentions to hurt the feelings of any Mirage owners by my comment earlier regarding the durability of Toyota and I had no intentions of portraying that Vitz is a superior car so please don't take my comments in any negative sense
