Can someone guide me the best place for check up of my Mirage in Lahore? My cars reaching 50k km soon, what should I look for to repair/change etc. If a manual is available that would be great!

Check following, although it may differ from what being said in the owner's manual

1. check brake pads and brake fluid(avoid guard oil)
2. plugs
3. make sure you are using 5w-30 grade oil
4. air filter
5. coolant condition and level
6. CVT oil level, make sure it has some golden color left. It is recommended to change after 40k but it is highly recommended to get it done from an expert. Selecting right CVT oil, quantity and draining old oil requires some experience.
7. check all axel boots
8. if possible, get is checked from a computer(2k charges) for any errors. I got a airbag check light once and it turned out to be faulty front left airbag sensor.

i get my mirage work done from a local mechanic at walton rd, together we learn about new cars lol.

There are many companies (mostly based in Pakistan) for auction membership. Google them and get in touch with them over email.

Suggest an alternative tire size for mirage since stock is not available i.e. 165/65 R14. Also, which brand is preferred ?
There are some chinese brands selling the stock size but isn't recommended by experts.

Atleast go for 185 profile. The car will look nice, will enhance grip and wont hurt the fuel economy that much.

Dear Friends Starting with sorry for my bad English.
I have Mirage for past 6 months now and its time to share my review about performance.
I am from Rwp and my office is in Isb, most of the time I have to travel to Lhr and Peshawar. I will explain fuel consumption variation in all cities below.

1. Its drive, I have driven it for almost 12 hours continues and never felt tired. its drive is super cool you will enjoy.
2. Transmission, its CVT works Gr8, won?t be able to notice gear change. Extra ordinance performance on steep height?s I have tried on Murree routes.
3. You don?t need HOBS for performance runs gr8 on regular but can be used with 30:70 bases (HOBC 30).
   Consumption: I am sure it?s the most concerning point to know is its consumption. Well let me tell you I have 14,185,65 tyer?s cos it dose effect on consumption I have increased height from 165 to 185 prior that my car was touch jumps with full load (5 Persons) as you know about stupid kind of speed breakers. With these tyers my car dose not touch jumps now.
   Long Drive I am getting 24.5 to 26 KM/L on Highways (GT Road) where RMP should be 1.8 or below 2 RPM, and you will have speed up to 90-10 KM on these RPM?s.
   Local Drive: in City when I am in Lahore it gives me 18+ on ava speed of 60 to 80 KM. in ISB it gives me 15.5 to 16 KM/L tried to identify the reason and found heights. On heights we have to push hard that?s why I get less consumption.
   Motorway: I have to travel frequently to Lahore and I get 17 to 19.5 with variable speed of 90 to 120 where RPM also maters. If drive above 120 it reduces accordingly.
   Speed Test: I have driven it upto 160 KM/H on Motorway and there was not vibration or any feel of speed. Yes on 160 depending on weight you will have to be very very careful. On 145KM/H it consumption will be reduced to 14 to 12 KM/L.
   Hidden Features: While driving if you have to stop on a steep height when you release break you wont be needed hand break as in this car it holds the break for 3 to five second automatically and your car will not roll back. By Pass / Overtaking Signal if you want to give signal for bypass / overtake just push indicator lever left or right one time not full push it will turn indicator on for 3 to 5 times and it will be turned off automatically after that (I just realized this option few days ago and its gr8). Headlights you don?t need to be worried about headlights any more in this car just put it on auto mode and forget it there are sensors placed on wind shield with will decide sunlight and turn on lights when required. AS&G (Auto Stop and Go) feature is also very interesting which I stops on a signal my car engine turns off and it turns on when I try to move staring of I release break engine starts at once and ready to go in seconds. It dose save fuel a lot (you must have to put on seat belt to activate this feature).
   Note: I may forget some will share later.

Body spares now available in karachi as per my info. Engine is basic 3cyl with cvt, trust me nothing new for Pakistan. (Thanks to vitz I must say:p )

how to turn the auto mode for headlights i cant find them yet ? my variant is m with out the push start one !

In mirage its mentioned on Light knob there are four positions as off / Auto / Parking only (Sign) / On

• fitting needs to be perfect and blend in with the interior
• Bluetooth for handsfree calling and touchscreen calling feature
• Sdcard /USB for playing multiple formats
• Easy to use and neat GUI / user interface for playing navigating through USB files
• GPS or navigation not really required
• Reasonably good quality audio
• Back camera supported

I can skip on GPS to reduce cost. I need something as economical.

The non-navigation Chinese unit i've got in my Mirage seems to fulfill all your requirements.
- Fitting is almost perfect
- Bluetooth with touchscreen calling
- SD card & USB
- Easy to use
- Reasonable audio quality
- Back camera support.
Navigation could be added but that costs more.

what ever device you use is no problem but the worst part is the fitting issue becoz majority will use the scale thing which will fit but right after two weeks you will hear the noise from panel so my advice is to go to some professional fitting guys otherwise it will effect the device too as there is no proper clips of Mitsubishi in market !
