Its time to bring in Mazda to the local Pakistani market

sir.. In last 3 years the Subaru sales doubled.. for the fact people in metro city like NY people realized they need an AWD in winters though NYC have best sanitation system in place to beat winter storms. If you go New England states.. you will see a lot of Subaru. (H)

I remember when the showroom CARS imported two mazda 6 sedans, both of them sat for ages because - mazda resale nahin hai. Dumb mentality of our common people. They would buy POS kei cars in a heartbeat with no regards to resale or service. Yet somehow a mazda 3 or 6 is "no go zone"

I for one really like the drive of a mazda 6 sedan, It feels like its been made by people who actually drive cars. The car brand of Japan I REALLY like is Subaru - rock solid brute attitude. Made to survive wars

In US Buy a brand new car no matter whichever brand.. As soon as you leave dealers lot.. Value depreciate by 10-15%. Plus you lose the tax you paid on top of the value.. By second year the car is worth 80%. That too if its kept in excellent condition. No accidents.. And lower mileage..

People think car is an investment but in actual its not.. Its a machine not gold and its value has to go down.. Haan Pakistan main mamla ulta hay..

I believe, if a strong business group brings a new brand to Pakistan and does HEAVY marketing and gives excellent aftersales services and the product itself is gud, people WILL buy it! Nissan, mitsubishi, chery, chevy etc were all lacking initial investment. when their cars were launched, not enough marketing was done. I dont remember seeing a SINGLE Chevy cruze advertisement anywhere although i saw a few brand new cars on the road.
Launching a new car brand would be a challenge. Breaking the monopoly is not easy but not impossible too, all its gonna take is commitment and adherence to the objectives of the company for long enough. Once people realize that the particular brand cars are better then others and the company wont just run away, they are sure to buy cars. n when they do, sky is the limit for sales of those cars...

What happened with textile industry was very sad. people who have invested billions have the right to protect their investments so they are making rational decisions. if only, some filthy rich auto enthusiast would take the step and bring VW or ford or mazda to Pakistani market, it would be great! if i ever get to a point where i can afford such a step, i would love to take it

Mitsubishi has a very good sale when it was launched I have seen many I of them at that time, when Pakistan rupee start depreciating it's price reach to 18lac and that time no one will buy this at that price. For Nissan sunny it has a very ugly shape which launched in pakistan so it's going to sale either.

The problem start with this govt other wise many new brand introduced in pakistan during past govt. Hyundai, kia, proton, chervolate, cherry, proton.

Even a established company like suzuki is not introducing any sedan so how you can expect some one else to take that much risk.

sir.. i believe we have to start with mazda2 or VW golf 1.4 type hatchbacks.. I think we need billions as until you have local assembly.. its hard to compete with current duties. being you in the market zone.. you can throw some light on it. An example is Australia. sky rocketing prices.. as they have mostly imports and lot of taxes I believe on European models.
In our case we have to make sure we keep min 10% extra.. you know what I mean
