wee, i ma seeling my ALTO 2001, in mint condition juz bcoz ov average.it is givin me like 10km/lit, i came to islamabad drove 405km in 4600fuel, so i am fed up, dont know should i sell or should i get iradium plugs, cone filter n stuff lyk tht..

jdm 660cc anytime but forget fuel economy if u go above 70-80kph

By orphan i meant underpowered car .Still passo has better parts availability as engine and transmission are same as that of vitz so its commonly available.660cc dinkies are underpowered and worst fuel guzzlers at high speeds they are not made for highways

I went to a dealer today to look for some JDM. He showed me a 2008 Suzuki servo and was demanding 870,000 for that. I am really impressed by the interior of the car and to know its fuel efficiency which he told about 20+ KM/liter with AC.

Has anyone of you tried this car and if yes, then what is your experience with it. Moreover, if I choose to buy this car, how much the price should be???

^ after 2 months ul be the only one with that car, and looking for parts all over, in JDMs look for a car that is a bit common. So parts are sourced easily

and for 870,000 get a Honda city or a Toyota Passo much better cars. secondly the claimed mileages of Mira 24 and Cervo as you said 20 km/L are for ideal circumstances with best quality (japanese fuel) in Pakistan you should say 15 km/L any thing above this is lucky.

brothers, bought a passo 2 days ago, its an awesome car, believe me far far better than local cars, had worst experiences with mhran, alto and cultus, can anyone tell me about the maintenance plus which oil, filter etc i should use

haha, ya i noe its been long its not easy find the "my type" of car :D, but im not going for a pakistani small car thats for sure, unless i fnd a 15k driven coure for 650.

Personally i would go for Honda Zest or Suzuki Wagon R. Specially the Spark and Stingray versions. they look awesome. But brother Chinyoti, honestly I am in same kind of dilemma as you are and i am not going for any JDM. Reviews are so mixed up and messed up that its hard to make a decision. I am going to give you the simple straight fact that you have to make the decision with all pros and cons of both sides, buy something and live with it. haha

I sold my car in start of last month (Santro Club CNG 2003) and still i am bewildering between JDMs and PDMs.

was jus wondering if these new JDMs, especially some with significantly different shapes like Mitsubishi I, would they have a resale value after a couple of years? i mean are they going to have a future like Vitz or would just drown ur money like Pajero mini?

Also, what would there durability be? a 660cc engine with automatic transmission, how far would it go? do we expect to see these still on the road after like 3 - 4 yrs?

i'm considering to get a small car n m confused like many others in this forum whether to get a Japanese or try new Mehran with EFI... any help?

There was a thread in PW that P.S. is about to launch Wagon R in 1000 cc category. May be you can check that out and i think it will fit in your budget.

Ive got a 2007-2008 Vitz, in the end, got it on 16th, Alhamdulillah, the car came in my budget and got it in no time, I still feel if a good Mira is found in around 750-775 then its not a bad option.
