@raza1 bhai merey i was joking, because most of the replies iam getting is that people degrade jdm cars just because of some cheaters but they dont think/realize the worth they r spending on. I just wanted to clear the negative aspect of the people and wanted to help my Pakwheelers that not everyone is a cheater, so next time when u buy jdm car better to buy a high priced car rather than cheap cars because maybe they have some bad history on it.

Regarding cheater tau cheater hi hota hai. Like i sold my SE saloon 2005 model few months back arter driving it for 95k kms. After few days, i wnet to society motors for taking delivery of my new car. I saw my car there on service. The service guys were playing songs in that car, the sound system was excellent, i went to see that, u know what, the mileage on car was 49k, lolz. Dealer nay choona laga dia, although he is my good friend.

So bhai, cheater to cheater hai, doesnt matter he deals in pkdm or jdm. There are very few people who play fairly.

Raza bhai...thukki hui nahi...albata a JDM tht is in real good nick will definitely be better than a PkDM.
and the main purpose of @sharabi is to give the ppl a wake-up call...he wants every1 to keep their eyes open while going for a JDM.... all that glitters isnt gold...similarly not every JDM imported car is good because its a JDM....
it can be good or bad..depending on the importer.

I am in favor of JDM.

I had a serious accident in my JDM Passo two weeks ago. The other car rammed into my car at very high speed and hit driver side door. The door and fender were destroyed. BUT the side impact beam in the door stopped that car from coming inside passenger cabin.

If i had been in indus corolla or suzuki cultus of my family, it could have been a different situation.

Safety and security is lacking in PKDM cars.

I had done a quick math about the cost of JDM cars for consumer and my conclusion was the same. Most importers bring run down cars and make big profits by rebuilding.

I have seen run down JDM's brought at night at Jail road Lahore. During day time, one can always see shining gems at the show room with fasinating word "fresh" import.

lol.... few months back, I banged a car dealer (showing himself as genuine buyer) on his forum here on Pakwheels. He was having hight words about his "sister" mira. My corolla 2010 is doing 15+ on highway. I think mira can have nice average if speed is around 60 or 70. Beyond that you need high rpm and consequently "mira" will start sucking big time.

@rizkhan2010 bhaijaan small engine cars do give good mileage but if u drive like grandma, i can guaranteed about 660cc mira manual 5speed that it easily give 18-20km in city remember if u driving like grandma, just drive like u r driving benz:P

@wanderlust thanks for appreciation, First of all japanese are not frauds ok, if car can be repairable what i mean for example car is repaired so the part which is replaced with new geuine one would be indicated on auction sheet as "XX" and if not and needs denting on that part of the car then they write"X" and yes those who have major accident cars, they dont repair the cars because it will risk human lives then they sold the car as "***" grade means as where as basis and starting bid is zero so those who bid max the car is sold as where is basis and remember in auction details they always write about history of car whether this car was in "private use" or "rent" or "commercial"

for example i have imported axio it was private use car even the mileage is 1,01,000km but still they grade 4 because the condition of car is awesome and it has maintenance history as well. i can upload the checking page but its in japan but u can figure it out by pictures of denmo belt, battery, axels etc.

@mjunaidaslam no they are not damaged during transpotation, these cars sold as where as basis and if your car got dent accidently while unloading from container not to worry they have insurance and u can file a claim on shipping agency/warehouse container yards.

then the charges for the 1300cc car:
a. C&F Karachi: 1,20,000 yen x 1.19=1,42,800/-
b. custom duty Pay Order : usd 4400.00 x 94=4,13,600/-
c. excise and taxation Pay order : Rs 4,000 to 5,000/-
d. passport: Pak Rs 20,000/-
e . others expenses: Rs 50,000-60,000/-

total: Rs 6,41,400/-

if u take 4 grade: (4,00,000/- x 1.19=Rs 4,76,000/- + 6,41,400/-=11,17,400/-

@raza1 bhaijaan sorry i dont have contacts in uk but if u need any estimate for upto 1800cc cars do let me know for example duty on 1800CC Benz for 60 months old car is : for Brand new 1800cc USD 23,100.00 and ur car is 60months old then u have to pay 100-60=40% of 23,100.00 so USD 9,240.00 u multiply this by current rate 9240x94=Rs 8,68,560/-

estimate auction price for 4.5 grade : 2,50,000YEN
