Hey man I was at Khalid bin waleed yesterday and the prices on some cars were ridiculous

03 surf 2700 cc demand 3.1 million
04 surf 2700 cc demand 4,2 million
06 surf 2700 cc demand 6.0 million ( retarded)
05 accord cl9 demand 3.0 milmillio

on asking why the prices were so high he said that srilanka had lowered their duties resulting in higher demand in Japan. Is this true? I was looking to sell my surf 03 2700 cc was wanting to know what my demand shd be.

I think reasonable demand would be 2.7 million on the safe side start vai asking 3 million. about the prices you quoted its becasue of weak pak rupee and high import duty + a huge chunk of profit i guess

@asifshar bhai if u have a budget then go for Premio Beige Interior otherwise Allion is a good car considering that u get all options which u get in premio and save around 2-3lacks

BTW PAKWHEELERS IF I CAUGHT SOMEONE SELLING FAKE AUCTION SHEET OR REVERSED ODOMETER CAR THEN IAM NOT JEALOUS BUT WHAT IAM TRYING TO PROVE HERE THAT MOSTLY PEOPLE WHO DONT POST AUCTION SHEET ALONGWITH THEIR THREADS EITHER A ACCIDENTED CAR OR FAKE AUCTION SHEET CAR.

For example below link as poster was saying its a mint condition car, scratchless condition and not showing auction sheet when i post the condition of the car now he is saying only bonnet is replaced etc etc. Someone ask him which auction sheet you will gonna show the buyer when he/she will physically inspect the car.

Thanks to Allah, Shahzaib bhae posts, and ali (murtaza_murti) I just got saved from a fraud deal.

I was told that the car is 3.5 Grade with a auction sheet and that 30,100kms

He wasnt showing me the documents, i got it inspected denter/Mechanic the car was okay, But the AC didnt work.

My mechanic told me the following

-Hard shocks.
-A/C if works thats okay
-The car was good mechanicaly and bodily
-Some noise in bearings

Denter checked it and said.
The boot was replaced in Japan.

All in all iwas still okay, Just because the car was a low mileage one, In the end i got the payorder made, Went to make the deal the cars mileage on the export certificate was 74,200kms, And was cleared in may 2012. So i called of the deal. Yes i might have to bear the cost for canceling the payorder. But im glad.

Now either im not going for a JDM or else il have to look for a car that comes out of Karachi port in front of me.

Or wait till shahzaib starts quoting me a car.

As somebody buys a car from the auction and delivers it to Pakistan, so Is it possible that the person sending the vehicle tempers the mileage and changes the auction sheet from Japan and then send the car?

Hmm Fraud is common in these JDM Car's you need some common sense when buying these. A collegue bought Honda life it was 17000Driven right away I told him you are victim of meter reversing which he didnt agree. Anyhow on test drive I heard the disc of the car making noise I told him you need to get these disc pad replaced he told me its ABS Noise hehe anyhow he ended up getting all disc pad replaced.

Another guy I know bought 2007 Vitz 7000KM drive hehe.

@waqas1 ur right. But its not imposible to find eka duka low mileage cars. If the guy had told me the orignal mileage and in price of a 70k driven car i wud have gone for it. Its was good mechanicaly nd body wise. But since iwas paying alot its not worth

Few weeks back I saw a car, 2008 Mira Custom, dealer claimed it is 12,000km driven. When I inspected the car, driver side door knob was loose, rubber pad on the brake pedal was worn, under body there were signs of wear, one shock was making noise, a couple of panels were painted, and still the dealer insisted that the car was only 12,000km driven, also claimed to have an auction sheet. To me the car looked at least 50,000km driven. I walked away from that deal only because the dealer lied and it gave me bad vibes, the car itself was not a bad buy.

Glad you got saved from being cheated. There are good low mileage JDM cars available but you will have to check it before finalizing the deal. Next time demand for an auction sheet as I did and verify it. Now that Shazaib is there shldnt be a problem

That's what I did and got a good Belta with original mileage with the help of Shahzaib and Murtaza_Murti

Yes one thing is for sure. One shud demand for the orignal file and documents of the car before deciding anything at all. If they dont show or hide anything its cheating. By looks most cars look the same. Only documents nd a physical check can tell weather its authentic or not. And yes physical copy of auction sheet shud b checked not the one made/edited on paint.

@getafix sir i think i would be around 11-1150,000/- dont know about islamabad market because cars in Islamabad is very high and also people pay more in Islamabad.

@fada yeah sure it depends on the importer setting with japanese car exporter if he told i need accidental car and repaired that car in japan because parts are cheap from scrap and also quality of work is better than local denter and then shipped the car to Pakistan because accidental cars have more value in Pakistan because people need only low mileage cars whether it has minor/major accident history.

@Vaqas1 sir buyer should inspect the car properly before buying any car whether its jdm or local one.

@All_Blacx once this import duty structure is clear i will let u know and also why dont u buy a 2008 manufactured car with low mileage u can save bucks in auction price and also in custom duty. Dont worry i will update u.

@hassanabeel27 actually i think u were lucky i find your car within 10mins as u provide me exact same month bill of lading date and thanks bringing up on this thread

@whiteangel always remember if seller is selling a genuine auction sheet high mileage car and asking reasonable, why because he got car cheap from japan, so whether u buy the car or not always salute the seller honesty and the person who is selling low mileage genuine car with genuine papers and asking high as compare to market, so if u are really interested pay atleast 2-3% more offer as compare to market because he got the car expensive in Japan Auction and that 2-3% extra money can save on your car maintenance and parts replacement.
