I too installed them on my Vitz after the originals got stolen and they were secure, A neighbor is using them on her 2008 Vitz since 3 yrs and its safe, so today i gave my mirrors to a guy who said he will get them made, its the best solution to prevent side mirror theft 
Tints ki story yeh hai that i didn't wanted to get it tinted because the car is unregistered but yesterday me and my mom went out side and she went into a shop while i had to wait in the car for 15mins+ and the car was parked in sun which made me angry, so as my mom came back i dropped her back home and went to get the car tinted
