Now onwards I don't think that you will need hi octane. PSO has launched 92Ron petrol in Karachi and hopefully it will soon be available in other provinces as well. I can't understand why a high quality product will be damaging to engine. There is usually a minimum Ron requirement for engines and in my very limited knowledge no high Ron limit. Please note that I am not challenging the validity of your question. To me it is a very valid question. May be some technical person can clarify it further

Got a quote from Car Fest (G10, Islamabad) for 40k service of my Passo.

Brake oil change 500
Liqui Moly 5w30 4200
Liqui Moly top tech 1800 Cvt 4 litre 7200
Oil filter (Leppon) 450
Air filter (Leppon) 650
Silicon 500
Petrol 300
Brake oil Siekon (Japan) 3litre 1050
Total 16850/
Seems much better than 3S charges
A bit concerned about transmission oil. Has anybody else used liqui moly transmission oil in passo

Well change following as per suggestion from the service list:

Zic X7 5w-20 3ltr Rs.1650- best for the cars worth and performs well upto 8000km. Passo is no Bentley.
Toyota original silver CVTF don't ever think of after market transmission oils and get it changed from Toyota 3s only as they know proper tools and protocols and can cover loss if something happens bad.
Change transmission oil if needed before 70000km otherwise no punga.
Dont change original brake fluid just top it up... Seikon cannot match toyota original brake oil.

Used mobil 1 liqui moly but Zic 5w-20 & 0w-30 gives the best fuel economy and performance. They are simple waste of money.

Lepon oil filter cost Rs. 220 not 450 and lepon air filter costs Rs. 370 only.
Buy your replacement parts yourself including oils and just ask for service.

Continuous use of Hi-Octane will increase carbon deposits in engine. Harmful in long run.

PSO has launched it countrywide and I guess Total as well (pso guy was mentioning).

Please note that engine tuning was last done around 4500km ago..so most likely this avg maybe increased a bit after tuning !

It's way better than HOBC.

1) not same
2) same
3) both have cvt. but passo has a dip stick to check oil level and vitz does not. not 100% sure if its minor difference or completely different

Use
Zic X7 fe 5w-20
Change air & oil filter
Check if your car has the original NGK iradium plugs because without which you do anything it wont perform. If your car does..ask for buffing and cleaning it petrol to change.
