Passo 2011: Has anyone tried to tighten the serpentine belt? There seems to be an adjuster near the generator, or is it for changing the belt?
Yes, Icame to know about this when i used over size belt. Got it changed from a mechanic, when actual size 6PK1190 was not available and 6PK1200 was used.In my opinion 1200 size is more suitable as it avoids weird sounds of belt.
I was thinking of tightening the belt a bit as it makes noise. Not sure if it would fix the noise or break the belt. Any ideas?
Tightening will increase the noise. Try 1200 size belt.
Okay, thanks
Can a regular watch shop guy replace the cell of keyless remote ?

Your question reminded me of my visit to Lahore in Eid Holidays. I tried to unlock my car in morning with the remote but it was not working. Battery dead. I took out the key out of the remote and managed to open the door. But was unsuccessful in starting the car with that key. All the praise be to Allah SW, I was at home and had the other key and it was not mid of journey at some rest area. So we went to Lahore and I got the cell replaced at some watch shop with some difficulty bcoz of Eid Holidays. I thought that there was some problem with the remote key. Later I was guided by Moqeem Sahib (he deals with these remotes and has shop in Sadder Rawalpindi) that the key in the remote does not have chip so it can only be used to open doors but can not start car.
Yes you can also get the cell from any watch shop/kiosk and replace it yourself. It's pretty simple, there are instructions in the owners manual.
Part Numbers : 04491B1051 / 04491-B1052 Other part numbers might also be compatible but I am not sure. If anyone has replaced them please confirm
