Because it was written in Passo manual 5w30... But I'm still thinking to pour it or to change it from the same shop..

I think i should go for 5w30 this time... Next time phir dekhen ge depending upon its performance...

RC/EC - as per API (American Petroleum Institute) is stated as "Resource Conserving and Energy Conserving These designations apply to oils intended for gasoline-engine cars, vans, and light trucks.Widespread use of Resource Conserving or Energy Conserving oils may result in an overall savings of fuel in the vehicle fleet as a whole."

The service category for the oil you got is a modern SN.

Yes you should opt for fully synthetic and 5w30 is great in winters (and summers too if you dont drive for hours in high noon with AC) If your running is a lot in rush hour traffic at peak temperatures then w40 should be considered.

smaller number (5) means the viscosity when engine is cold (thin)
larger number (30/40) means the viscosity when engine is hot (thicker)

My civic 05 is running on 5w30 since day one (islamabad/pindi) but usage is not very high in extreme temperatures

There is not a huge difference in viscosity at high temperature for both of the oil, on low temperature both are same i.e. 5w, winter is approaching so you can go safely with 5w30, what is company recommend oil grade for 1kr-fe ? you should get close to what written in car manual.

Dr Sb ! 5W40 oil has more ability to work on high ambient temperatures. As you are using 5w30 in winter, so there is nothing to worry about.

Both are good oils, if you think that your running during the winter would be around 10k then it's OK to go with 5w30 otherwise I would suggest 5w40 it would produce better results in summer

Other valuable option was 5w40 LM, purple bottle, price was Rs 4850... Changing interval is 20000 km, as mentioned in LM official booklet... Will upload pics of booklet later iA....

if 20000KM is not driven for an year then when we should change the oil? what LM booklet says.

Bhai. should hybrid cars get oil sprayed on downside from service station.
I hear sometimes sound while crossing bump, Mechanic says get your car Oil sprayed from downside coz it's due to dryness.
Pls. advice how can I get Shocks/Springs/Suspension lubricated.

Salam, I had wagon r stingray 2011 turbo variant. Used it for almost two years and recently sold due to upgrading.
I used it for local and long routes between Islamabad and Lahore, drove 60000 km in two years. Really loved it, had all the features including push start, climate control, turbo intercooler, paddle shifters, eco mode, DVD, sofa seats, alloys and what not. Drive was great, contrary to popular belief not underpowered at all. Went right upto 140 km motorway with esse. Mileage varied between 15-18 depending how I drove.
All in all, recommended from my side. It is great utility vehicle as even six people can adjust.

Aoa.doc sb I have seen ur comments about stingray and find very helpful Dr sb I have recently purchased stingray 2014 turbo.from past 2 days it's eco idle light starts blinking.when I removed front battery wire and reconnect after 2 mins it's gone but after some hours it's came back.today I went to a mechanic and he scan the whole system of car he diagnosed that the lithium battery beneath the front seat captured the moisture that's why its showing light. He open the battery cover the check the battery and circuit but couldn't find any thing after that he said its seems ur front battery is weak so try to change and check.i just want to ask u have u have experience such problem if yes then what was the solution?waiting for your valuable quick response
