Qasim overtook Sarfraz Dhanjee and Sardar Hasan in stage 1.
Dhanjee Sb said he made it close to Channa Sb in stage 1, but it was after Nadi and could not overtake in the dust.
One interesting thing is that although Channa Sb finished stage 1 ahead of Dhanjee Sb, Dhanjee Sb was let off first for stage 2. Intersting anomaly, not that it really matters, both were not podium contenders.
Need to confirm with Ali Aden, heard that Ronnie had a tyre change in stage 2, which is quite possible looking at all the times. If there indeed was a tyre change than he would have been very close to Nadir / Qasim!
Syed Asif Imam (Kulti) was 4 minutes slower, compared to his last year time!
Rana Sumair Noon who came 1st in Category B last year with a time of 2 hour 18 minutes! While this year according to him his Vigo chip wasn't working and still he managed 2 hour 17 minutes!!! And had he stayed in his own category B, he would still have been 3rd and....................
