Job in Gulf country

Mate, Linkedin is a Microsoft subsidiary and is based out of Sunnyvale, California, U.S. They have nothing to with India. To say that the companies listed on LinkedIn prefer Hindus over people of other religions is outright nonsense. I don't think they can even do that even if they wanted to. LinkedIn is like Facebook for professionals. They are that big. Naukri on the other hand is an Indian company. But again, you don't get to discriminate based on religion there too.

I think one need to do the right search on right platform to get the desired job.
Apart from Linked, what other platforms are authentic. I have been using Naukrigulf, monstergulf.

Brother i have to agree with you on that. Multiple time when i read the job description over the portal, out of 10,in 8 of the descriptions it is clearly mentioned that Indian Candidates shall be preferred. It could be just my understanding aswell but this is what i have observed.

Secondly same behavior i have also observed in Gulftalent, NaukriTalent website. Indians are preferred, might be due to their Talents and Hard Working capabilities.

1. Filipinos.
2. Indians.
3. Pakistani, sudanis, egyptians, etc..

this is how they prefer to hire in Saudia. i have worked with all of them and Filipinos are the most humble (which of course saudis like), indians are on the second number due to their "yes boss" and hard work behavior and of course educational backgrounds (i once wanted to do an educational course related to my field, but i found out that it is not offered in Pakistan at all and my Indian friends did it from India : ( ) , and then come us pakistanis ..the problem is Pakistan is exporting mass number of labor class, hence they get an idea of us as mostly uneducated and labor class ppl : ( this is sad but truth.

and if you see expatriates population wise, you will find Indians dominating the market ..so naturally they will prefer their countrymen when they offer jobs on website .. : (

but keep trying your luck. Allah will provide you what is out there for you .. don't lose hope, have faith !

the problem is Saudia , in fact Gulf is massively downsizing expatriates and giving job opportunities to their own ppl, especially in desk jobs, supervisors, managerial positions.
that is why ppl are getting a hard time finding a job in gulf these days

An opinion doesn't change facts my friend. Linkedin might have a lot of Indian users, but that doesn't mean they are an Indian company. In fact, they are an American giant in fact valued in billions. I owe my entire career to the contacts I made through Linkedin. I haven't faced any discrimination based on color, creed or religion in their platform. But I'm not denying the fact that some employers might be discriminatory towards people of other races or religion, but to accuse the platform that is Linkedin for being pro-India is a little over the top to be honest.
