We parked the car at start of Reshian bazar and discussed the way with the locals.

The first news that we received was army is asking for NOCs and is not letting the tourists go through check post.

Since yesterday, 23 tourists have been returned; 2 groups of 20 and 3 and this was a really sad news.

And we were the 3rd group of 3 and had to come back from check post in Reshian.

We gave them our ID cards and the in-charge there said that he will check with brigade HQ and let see if we can go through. As we just wanted to go to Daokhan and were not asking permission for Leepa Valley.

In the meanwhile, i called my contacts in army but check-pot had instructions to see written NOCs and civilians accompanying army personnel can go through.

As we didn't have enough time to go back to Hattian Bala again so decided to return to MZF with a heavy heart.

Breath taking mubeen bhai,
it was not just you,i too am feeling sad on returning back since i got emotional attachment when i started reading your thread,its the nature of human kind, i think,when you are waiting to see something,like a simple example,when your are at railway station waiting for a train and once you see the train,emotions are over.
Like wise i was curiously following every new picture waiting to see leepa but thats the way circumstances play with our emotions.

Things can go away from plans anytime so learning to adjust quickly is also part of trekking, hiking, tourism experience. As i mentioned above, we left Reshian with sadness but enjoyed the return journey even more

So to complete the adventure and resolve the suspense, i am going back there Inshallah after Eid

Performance of Santro
Santro performed really well throughout the way. No trouble at all on climbs or descends. Alhamdulillah it reached Reshian without any sort of problem and easily made it down to main road. Equally important role was played by my bro Muazzam who was driving the car in the trip
