Speechless Mobeen..... Although I have been there twice and stayed at PC, which is on the highest hill in Muzaffarabad but still this is the real mind-a-blowing picturesque view, i have ever seen for this Muzaffarabad... I second the comment from Raheel Bhai k you literally take out the colors from all the threads of this forum and place them in a single thread, which is definitely yours.

Hmm so no Gilgit-Chitral this year....??? Waisay seriously Kashmir holds something very very extraordinary in itself and one could only see and feel but cannot describe in words...

the best thing abt Kashmir is that its very near and distance and expense is very less.
for NA we need a long time and resources....

i have been to leepa (till reshian top ) in jan this year in snow

Waisay very true Asif but you know what.. you are saying because you live in Islamabad... Hum Karachi walon se koi poochay k kitni baar sochna parta hai aur kitnay maheeno pehlay se humein plan bananay partay hain agr ghalti se bhi kabhi hamara dil kar jaye Kashmir ya NA ghoomnay ka... tum logon k tau mazay hain... Jub 2-4 din ki holidays hui... atleast chotay motay trip pe hi nikal gaye... Ab yehi dekh lo, abhi Jan mein gaye aur Mashaa Allah phir August /Sept mein janay ka plan ready... yahan humein tapatay raho tum loag...!!

Chalo jee best of luck to you too and i seriously admire voyagers like you, mobeen and few of the others here... Flickr office mein block hai isliye i never get a chance to see your pictures as they all are mostly on Flickr... Will see when i get back to home...!!

Thx a lot

Nobody was willing to go so i had almost dropped the plan and was thinking to visit historical places in Lahore. So, Friday was wasted.

Then on Friday evening, me and my bro were discussing about Soun Valley but weather was hot again after rain. Then came the idea of a shorter version of same trek that i was planning and we decided to move on for Sheesha Mali Top return visit from Daokhan, Reshian.

Within 2 hours, we got ready and departed and were welcomed by petrol strike :S

I called motorway guys and they said that it is available throughout on motorway and then i checked with a friend of my bro Muazzam in MZF and petrol was available there as well so we left Lahore with a cautious plan for fuel.

The drive till Reshian only is worthy enough of a trip though i really wanted to do the trek. Inshallah, planning full time grand trip immediately after Eid now for Leepa Valley with all clearances in advance.

I am still learning myself and it was first trip where i experimented with wide angle lens. It is a wonderful world and dream combination if u r a trekker and nature lover as well

Totally agree with u. There is something very special about the place and i even didn't enter Leepa Valley. I am just wondering how would be the rest of the experience

A very critical decision that we made and i am so happy at the choice

Options to stay were:

Saran Guest House at Pir Chinasi
PC Muzaffarabad
Sangum Hotel

Budget was not the issue but main issue was to capture the night views of MZF.

Pir Chinasi and PC are on sides of the city and give one side of the view.

Sangum Hotel is in the middle of the city and from roof, u can see in 4 directions and each giving an amazing view

I realized this when i started taking pics at evening while sitting on terrace of Sangum Hotel for supper (no room was booked at that time).

You will see atleast 5 different angles from Sangum Hotel roof top worthy of taking landscapes at night

Yup no Gilgit Chitral and even Neelum Valley is now on 2nd priority.

Full time planning for 5 days trip to Leepa Valley and surroundings. I will include the trek of Sheesha Mali and Kafir Khan in same trip now Inshallah.

yes for u karachiites Kashmir and NA is same thing. yes its very difficult to travel from karachi i know...
