sir. you are seriously mistaken.

36-40hz is the worst tuning that we guys do here in pakistan.

30hz tuning is going to give a more flatter response from 35 to 80/90Hz...

whereas 37-40hz tunings will give a peak, which kills music.

and besides, this is a compact design. around 2.2cuft internal. it will never be boomy. infact it will be tight and quite accurate. you can ask JZ..

30hz tuning in an oversized enclosure is going to be boomy and give loads of bass which would not be good for regular music.

also, the vent area is not too much in this box. hence the subwoofer stays within control, and does not bottom out. picks up good highs as well...

if the box is small, then it's not gonna be that boomy, bu still i wont prefer 30hz, to me max 31-33hz is ok, but mostly to enjoy all types of songs 35hz is best tuning....if u wanted flater response, would have got 2.2cu.ft sealed, and for ported i think it's less.....

38hz tuning in my opinion is a flop tuning. WHy?

becoz 38 hz tuned box will peak arnd 46-50hz depending on car.

most of tunes that even u smarty listen. are 35-42hz bracket.

below 38hz the woofers will not sound gud.

simple xample, i can play anything from 28 to 55hz with woofers retaining full control, and my box peaks at 37-38hz which is what u want for rap. My box is 28hz tuned and the songs i made vid on some even have 44hz note like pink floyd.

woofers in full control and accuracy 17/20 of sealed is what compact well designed 30hz tuned box is all about :).

38hz is gud only for the boomy peaks at 45-46hz

my 30hz box is picking up hiphop/rock/techno way loooot better as compared to a sealed box,im pretty satisfied with the output,
waiting to do some grounding ,n then open up more bass,
pioneer 5250 is coming as well

but the crazy thing is...that people here make big As$ boxes, and tune them high (37-40hz)...doesnt that sound plain dumb?? and than you expect them to go low and my dear friends, a compact enclosure plays highs far better than an oversized one...

btw fahad, u have to do a serious redo of ur electro as that amp draws over 250 amps on 1ohm, which needs abt 2 -100 ampere batts and atleast 1 over 100amp alternator for decency
