nice system man to be honest i don't understand any thing about ohms etc one thing i know about systems is :how ever is the system setup just it should sound gr8 and this one does
no i dont have a hole ,but the arm rest back side does the job though theres a thick plastic sheet in between,can cut tat,though of it before,was about to do it but something jus stopped me :S didnt want a hole in shape of a square

or maybe the wire is burnt? was it loose? seems like smothing that would happen due to:
-loose wire resulting in too much sparking /drop in current load-too much current draw for the wire to handle
just a fluke...i could be totally wrong
yaar i think the wire was a bit loose,tighted it after putting it back,any harmful effect?
if the wire is burnt at the tip, just cut it and use it...cause the burnt portion will create resistance for the current...
