guys im getting error 19 on my usb
usb is cosair ,it plays songs f0r 2-3 mins n then gives format read n then error 19,what to do

You probably have a USB extension cord connected to the HU, check if it's working properly. They fail with a relatively high frequency, shouldn't be anything serious.

yes i do,i do have hissing sound in the sound system when i turn on the engine,increases with the rpm,tryed to ground it but it isnt going away,i guess its the capacitor which is near the rcas,moved that away,havnt checked it yet as mono amp is taken off for tuning.

finally got time to tune the hifonics n i gotta say theres a lot of difference as compared to when the amp was untuned

how you tuned your amp what steps Req for doing it correctly?
move ur Cap to fender side then it will be bit far from rcas

adjusted the gain level according to the voltage output of the player,set the frequency to about 110hz,bass boost set to about 80% ,opened the max listening volume which is 44 for me,adjusted the gain n boost level to the point a lil below where clipping starts ,player 50hz set to +3 sla 0,sub +1 80hz hpf is on from the 4ch now,sound 125hz is set to zero

Set bass boost to 0 ....Its the first thing that induce clipping in subs even at lower volumes !

Sometimes it is the hu battery wire that is messing with rcas inside dash ...Do check them 1st before shiftig cap to somewhere else ,As a friend using installed his setup in the same way as you installed on rack and no complaints !

yes,whats wrong with that?the amp gain needs to be adjusted according to player voltage n then the bass knob is adjusted to the point one step less than where clipping starts

I was jus wondering at such high bass boost if u not getting distorsion then hats off to ur amp

it was tuned in a way to set a level below where the distortion starts
its a hifonics bro,its made to give good output
u might be confusing bass equalizer with bass boost,this amp has its own bass equalizer.
+ cant just open the gain ana wa gain is set to match voltage inputs of pre.
then tuning done with bass equalizer from amp n then the fine tuning from the player.
im not a pro at audio but what ive learnt through experience and reading is to adjust gains with player n then use bass equalizer from the amp to tune the amp n then fine tune it from the player
i maybe wrong but this is what i think should have been done,
what do u suggest i do bro?ur more experienced then i am in audio,im always open for suggestions

U n me have totally different setups....u surely r more experienced than me The main aim in any type of setup is diatoraion free sound at d vol range that u like to listen. So if u r having a clean sound then its all fine.

For SQ setup i like to keep base boost as low as possible but for ur kind of music, the more the better

true that bro,v have two v different setups,
the sound im getting is distortion free,thats the difference u get between a branded amp n a non branded amp

Very clean install. How much wire did u use for the big three? Did u add a fuse between alt and battery?
