Just apply a thin coat of electrical contact grease to these areas before reassembly. It will reduce corrosion and improve conductivity.

Jz bhai Masha`Allah nice work done on the grounding kit.....an yes you do need to give the metal cleaner a lil time to penetrate the crud an girme.....an you need to agitate it with a brush......the results are superb undoubtedly......an JazakAllah for my mashoori on yer thread!!
