here we go,after using the car in the rain,i decided to check the filter if it was wet or if it was dry,the fitler is basically behind the bumper curve,covered by the plastic cover under the engine.
the filter im using is basically covered from all 3 sides and has the outlet on the bottom.
the filter cover had some slight water marks but then i opened up the cover n uncovered the filter,the filter was 110% dry n i was satisfied that i can easily use the car in the rain but avoid the deep puddles
