As i made it obvious by now that ecu is self-made.
For making VTC work in a close loop ecu requires engine to have minus trigger pattern and single tooth cam.
So i changed the stock trigger pattern.
Pulley bolt is yet to be replaced. Service manual does not instruct to replace it and also not to use any thread locker. Only lubrication required.
Everything was torqued according to specs.

For measuring the Gap of the missing tooth i did this. and again dead on spot.

No it's a cheap korean DC tig welder with just 2 frequency option 2.5s and 5s.

I have used teflon wires for engine harness. In my wiring from 24 to 14 gauge. I made 3 wirings till now 2 for k24's and one for 1nzfe.
Wires are eccentrically twisted together. They are not repairable so better do good planning before going for it.
Ecu side pins were new while sensor sides some pins were new some were old used.
Honda used 3 different types of pins for sensors.

This was my first attempt of making headers. The primary collectors look awful...whereas the secondary looks okay.
Used steel because i knew i'm gonna mess things up.
Space was too tight. Barely got 5 to 10 mm of clearance.
Primary size 1.85", Secondary 2.25" and final pipe is 3 inch. Length of primary and secondary runners are same.
Pipes cost like 8k. But alot of man hours and welding required. It was fun though.

So we are almost there now. I mean close to the present day.
For a time being i installed Ek civic radiator. I planned to joint another core with it and make custom tanks for better coolings.
As the inlet and outlet of radiator were smaller then the engine. To make it work i made stainless slip couplers.
D series 70mm throttle body. Redrilled 2 holes in intake manifold. Fits easy.
No iacv yet. As i will be making center feed intake manifold.
Before any engine related mode i'm going to tune it first.
Then each time after upgrading something i will drive on the same tune so everyone can see what happens to fuel map.
Many plans to pursue.

Let me share some details about ecu.
The standalone is based on Speeduino platform. At present PCB is 0.4.3c
Most of the important components are import as you cannot find them locally.
I designed and added another pcb to add more inputs/outputs like oil pressure and oil temperature sensor.
I'm already working on new pcb with a better and faster microcontroller....Teensy or maybe STM. The problem is they have 3.3v input/output so i have to carefully choose the components.
I have four more with me if anyone is interest in such project.

Radiator fan was set to come up at 93C. Turns off at 89C means in 4C loop.
VE (volumetric Efficiency) table need adjustments. You can see in the video afr's lean out as i move the throttle. Acceleration table was maxed out.
Fuel pressure was 46 psi.
Made the base map myself later found out that hondata has stock fuel maps so i have studied the ignition timing map of stock k24A RBB and filled it carefully in tunerstudio table.
Wiring was temporarily connected.

We are set start to the project of his EG after EID.
Meanwhile i have some time so will try to do the steering rack work.
Take the engine out and measure the toe change on 1 inch suspension travel.
Then after the modification do the same measurements.
Want to handle it like a car not a boat.
Will keep on adding details i have missed.

Hassan bhai knowing that you have used an ast5 from cl9, what should be the cost of manual swapping a cl9 with non lsd ast5 these days with manual ecu, wiring, gear etc? Btw really admire your creativity for this project

Sir i will not suggest that.
6 speed manuals are not available in market. If someone has it by chance in scrap yard then he will ask illogical price like 2 lac +. Then ecu will be another headache to find.

I have seen people importing k series engine+transmission from eBay (paypal account required). I think it will cost less these days.

Actually custom hits according to displacement.
Most of the shop keepers in scrap yards got their engines and containers cleared illegally. And still sell for such price.
