Kalam Information Required

@Alinaseem, thank you for your useful information and uploading pictures of your trip. Off course I wish to see more pictures from you. Dear the road from Mingora to Kalam is 92 KM approx (Google maps), as you said road conditions from Behrain to Kalam are not good and it took 4-5 hours, it will remind me of my recent journey to Binjosa lake, there is no raod, it is disappointing yar. I have heard that CNG is available till Mingora? is it right? and what about Petrol availability in the area? Please share.

just went to kalam and to the hotel walnut heights which is about a 700-1000 feet above kalam.
about CNG i can't be sure, i think its not available, but i might ask somebody and confirm in a day or 2.

what about the current trout situation there,As before the operation there were alot of trout farm in kalam and beyond.

I don't think that's true!!!!
I don't think there were any drone attacks on Kalam at all.

Very nice pictures, Farmi Trout is just like Chicken we eat daily. In my recent visit to naran, DCO naran applied section 144 on Trout hunting. One reason is because of its breeding season, secondly the way trout is hunted like blasting and electric current. In naran trout rate was 2200 per KG and they claim it of river trout. All this is fake. So we eat "Maya" fish from Balakot on our return.
@AliNaseem can you please tell me if you visited Malam Jabba, what is condition of PTDC hotel there. I think it is PTDC, the one we can see in pictures of Malam Jabba. Is the chair lift working there?

didn't go to malam jabba this time but we did go 7 years back and yes its PTDC, a good hotel.

we did skating there, back then the chairlift was working.
do you know that malam jabba is a brilliant skiing site!!? because of the beautiful fall it has just in front of PTDC.

My last visit was in July 2007, stayed in Hilton, they charged Rs2000 for 4 person room.
It was a nice hotel, the person (forgot his name) leased this hotel for 5 years. We were there when the first bomb blast happend in Saidu Sharif. We had to leave Kalam.
