Thank you very much, Since you are going through my travelling Threads, i think you should see this. This is my 1st Road trip on Pakwheels, all the posting was done live.

PS: I just went through all 62 pages of the thread on the Karachi - Northern Areas thread. I have been to the majority of the places shown, and probably stood on the same spots too, but this was back in the day without digital cameras, and the most I had were a few rolls of 24 or 36 exposure films. The memories brought back were powerful enough to leave me with moist eyes and a lump in my throat.

Really really a worth digging thread.

I almost daily dig one thread by you and then enjoy it with chips and drink. Your threads are always very narrative and I enjoy watching ur thread rather than watching a movie and time taken by both are almost same.

Thank you very much for your kind words, I did quite few trips with friends and family but this trip i cant forget, in this trip i had 2 passengers with me , from Karachi till Ahmedpur East, i dropped them there and went to Kila Dirawar. When i came back to Ahmedpur, got the air filter cleaned and while having tea i said to myself "Lets go North" . From that point i was alone, i stopped for hours at Dhabbas, had tea, talked to truck drivers, I even drove at 60km/h in a 100km range for couple of hours. I enjoyed each and every kilometer.

I am planning to leave again, alone, in few days.. InshAllah.

Planning a trip from Ahmedpur to North is like you need to think think and then plan as I had spent my late teen age in Bahawalpur and we only made it once. OMG but YOU... i really salute u :). Two year ago I went to Derawar Jeep Rally on the invitation by my In-Laws as they are into jeep things and we spent one day/night there, it was awesome awesome and after watching that section of this thread it really really made me refresh my memories.
