DAY 2
Our first day was pretty fine.
Second day was quite fun. Two of my friends got off the Lahore railway station and went out to grab some food. They got too leisurely there and missed the train.
They acted quick and grabbed the first bus from Lahore to Rawalpindi to catch up with us. We reached Rawalpindi station at around 8 p.m. We booked 'careem' to Pirwadhae bus adda, in the mean time the friends who missed the train also reached the bus adda by a difference of few minutes.
It was our intention to not waste anytime in Pindi and directly catch Natco bus to Raikot the same night. Natco fare from pindi to raikot were 1400 and 1700 for simple coach and daewoo respectively. Unfortunately they only had 2 seats available so we went on to find other buses. Other buses can go for as low as 1200/1400 rs. Buses take around 18 hours to reach raikot and take a boring KKH route.
We were tired so we opted for Corolla rent-a-car, there are many rent-a-car services at pir wadhae. One of them agreed to take us to Raikot for 2500 per head. Rent-a-car take a much shorter route via babusar pass which is much more scenic. It takes 11ours to reach Raikot from Rawalpindi.
