@Baig Sb. It was first meeting and objective was to know each other which was achieved! by the way there was little offroading too.

It was very nice meeting you all.

As decided on last meeting there should be some event to kick start our Offroading activities, on coming Sunday. Everyone who want to join in is Most Welcome. The location is still not final. So, please do propose some good offroading destination. Keeping in view that it would be a day trip.

I am proposing one location here in form of Pictures... I don't think; we can reach the Light House without modify our rides for floating or for some under water travelling!!! so we will go to the maximum we can. These are google Map pictures so ground realities are totally unknown.

Important Question: Did anyone ever try to discover that area? I have seen two or three pictures of people doing survey but that location was not very far from offroad starting point. I think that location is still good offroad destination. What do you say?

i also see some places near gulshan-e-maymar where we can try to do offraod i also survey this place and let you know .i think mubarak village is also good place for it and also a wonderfull beach .please also think about it

Good luck fellas, unfortunately I wont be able to join in, am leaving for Umrah tomorrow.
As for the above pictures of the light house off Keti Bunder. The area close to the water line is (green patches above) are mostly marsh land and swaps. I wouldn't explore that area in a 4x4.

You will find alot of places to offroad off the Canal Road (shown above), just make sure to stay away from the Abu Dhabi Hunting grounds.

As for Mubarik village & surrounding areas, they are a no go area these days due to recent kidnappings.
You will find a check post just off mauripur road (after bilal hotel, chain toll) and there's police there that doesn't allow non-residents going through.

Be safe there.

Good place is surrounding of Gulshan-e-Maymar.
The trucks have taken sand from here & it will be nice there.
Love to join u guys but am away from city due to office work.
