Karachi to London by Road

Sorry if I'm asking after months but is there some international rule forbidding Pakistan passport holders from going by road? Or some rule made by Irani government? Just curious as it has been my fantasy to at least try to make a road trip to Istanbul.

with Carnet De passages for vehicle and valid passports & visas for every passenger in the vehicle, countries enroute "no country" can decline exit / entry passage.
unless there is a country specific UN Travel Advisory

That's what I am thinking too. Ideally no country can ban a person or vehicle with proper valid travel documents. UN travel advisory is just an advisory. It is not a ban.

Agar siraf Iran ki planning hey to i have a contact of an Iranian National who will arrange Temporary Carnet to visit Iran on your own car on Pakistan Green Passport . Green passport is not restricted . Someone said You cannot visit Europe on a Pakistani car it is not true . But ( Ertugral Says Lakin) Carnet de passage Fees is too much . You have to pay atleast 27 Lakhs for a uzuki Mehran and 21% fees is nonrefundable. Mostly people use Bank Guarantees. You can get Carnet de Passage from Iqbal town Lahore office. In 2017 i travelled to Iran and Iraq on a Bus .It was a wonderful experience but depends on the Machine you are travelling and the people with whom you are travelling.

Sir, thank you for the generous offer. At the moment however I cannot go anywhere owing to job and other commitments here. Definitely a carnet de passage is expensive as I read somewhere that you have to deposit value of car with the authorities ( I don't know which authority) before a carnet can be issued. I'm glad you enjoyed your bus travels abroad. Thank you for sharing.

In the late 80s early 90s two of my colleagues went from Karachi to Istanbul by public transport. And in the late 90s another friend went from Karachi to Shanghai via public transport. Not heard of any adventures after that.

Hello friends.
Its me, Ammar Hasan again.. For some reason I cannot recover my old PW account, so I made a new one with the hope of never loosing it hopefully

Its been over 4 years since I chalked out this plan, but due to several logistic issues (and COVID), it couldn't be materialized.. Though I think about it to this day, every day.. I am now in a better position to make this journey (both financially and time-availability wise).. But most of my friends are busy with their lives and don't really fancy the idea anymore.. But I am keen to do it ..

I am planning to buy a SUV/Truck for this journey.. Need your recommendations on which Vehicle is suitable for this long itinerary?? In terms of durability, fuel economy, but MOST IMPORTANTLY "COMFORT". I have a budget of 7-8m and looking for a used:
1) Toyota Hilux Revo V 2016-2017
2) Toyota Fortuner 4x2 Petrol 2017-2018
3) Any other suggestion in my budget?

Not exactly sure about my dates, but it would be somewhere in summers 2023 should the circumstances allow.
