Weather shield was deteriorated

hence trying to remove the hardened rubber seal

while removing this rubber type thing,

the glass broke down.

Seal condition, small broken parts.

After dismantling the glass sub frame,

thou it was really hard and time consuming to open this sealed frame.

Pattern made for glass.

sourcing glass from local market,

2 mm glass very easily cut according to pattern just for Rs.30 only (two pieces)

body repaired with epoxy

Cleaning parts for glass fitting

Making and applying spacers for gluing the glass with the body.

spacers were made to make space all around for equal layer of the glue.

(I would like to share that this DIY was a failure, after using few months dust entering started again because different materials expand and contract differently)

Glass fitting with R B Lite clear epoxy (24 hrs curing time)

after curing grinding excessive epoxy and covering with marking ink.
