@2468 yup i have heard about it. my friend have been visited the factory,he said there were almost five hundred frames,some were completed & some were uncomplete. othere parts were also there like speedo meter,fuel tanks.exuasts.tail and front lights etc.

Dear I am in Karachi from last two years, so didnt went these places yet, my GTO125 is Lahore number, I was in Lahore before setlling in Karachi.

But if you could send the pictures of inside Kawasaki factory, that would be great.

What about launching GTO125 again in Pakistan, can we take is as a project, finding investors, contacting vendors etc. I want Kawasaki again in Pakistan and it can gain fair market share due to its brand power, can anyone make this dream reality !!!

As @joinami said Kawasaki was brought to Pakistan by Mian Ashfaq, Saif Nadeem Kawasaki Motors is named after his sons Saif Ashfaq and Nadeem Ashfaq. I donot have the negative news of the fraud but I can be wrong as Saif Ashfaq was my classmate in school. I can ask him the reason but obviously it will be his version.

this is the time to own kawasaki for investors and first of all they will have to face honda,s hurdles once again.

as far as my experience is concern the main reason is overe heating of Kawasaki i am talking abt big bikes 400+ dont know y but for sum reason this problem exist in all the variants of kawasaki. Hassan also a pakwheels faced this problem with his 7R and one of my frnd had 9R who busted two engines cuz of overhearting. But no matter wat kawasakis are way to fast. I just bought one so i'm lovin it.

Top 67 tax defaulters owe Rs 3.484 bn to exchequer

RECORDER REPORT

ISLAMABAD: Of the top 100 tax defaulters, customs number 67, owing over Rs 3484 million to the national exchequer.

The list on the 100 top tax defaulters provided to the government shows that defaults were on account of illegal claims or overpayments of rebate; non-payment of dues despite recovery ordered by the courts; wrong claims of exemption, overdue insurance guarantees; goods released free of customs duty and sales tax against indemnity bond etc.

Among the offenders are a good many well-known industrialists and leading businessmen. Surprisingly, there are 29 cases where identity cards of the defaulters are not traceable and address of the directors are not tranceable in 17 cases. The authorities have asked the CBR to provide the information about the identity and their addresses 'in quick time'.

According to the list, D G Khan Cement is the top defaulter involving an amount of Rs 319.921 million. It imported cement plant and claimed exemption of duty and taxes under SRO 494 (I)/92 read with SRO 978(I)/95. The exemption claim was not allowed in full by the Collectorate as majority of the imported items, being manufactured locally, were charged to taxes. The party went to the Lahore High Court, which ordered provisional release of the machinery upon furnishing indemnity bond by the unit and finally directed the Collector of Customs, Multan, to re-determine the liability. Consequently, the Collector, vide order No 10/99 DT of November 8, 1999, created a liability of Rs 715.37 million, out of which Rs 319 million is yet to be paid by Director Naz Mansha.

The second top defaulter is Saif Nadeem Kawasaki Motors, Haripur, owing Rs 319.91 million. ID card of Director Aftab Siddiqui is missing. Saif Nadeem Kawasaki Motors owes loans to the Banking Council and is at present closed. The customs department has lodged claims of duty arrears with the banking court. The Banking Tribunal has ordered auction of the unit. It was carried out thrice but the bid was not up to the mark.

Third top defaulter, Zaman Cement Co of Fazal Road, Lahore, Cantt, owes Rs 262 million to the government. The Director, Kamran Khan, is alleged to have made wrongful claim of exemption on import of the plant.

If Yamaha and suzuki can sell 2 strokes then kawasaki should again come in pakistan with a strong investor and should launch both 2 stroke and 4 stroke bikes, in latest shapes and technology.

there r some latest rumors about kawasaki.i have been heard it from my 2 friends.one of them said he saw the news about kawasaki in todays jang paper.
kawasaki is comin back and r launching 125cc,110cc 2strokes and 70cc 4stroke bikes.
wheater i m v busy nowadays, does any one else have checked the jang paper today??????????
