Car is not in bad nick as most were considering the age it has on it. Make sure you do proper work, Undercarrige paint and seals should be done. Painters only paint exterior while the side where interior was dented remains un treated which leads to early rust. The rear tire fender you did, apply under carrige paint inside too. While doing interior make sure all fitings are proper and foams and sheets for doors stay good otherwise eliminating noise from car would be impossible

Should come around good. I see dedication. Shouldn't be asking for which look to go for it as u already stated that how you dreamed of it with black interior and red stitching and color matching the picture you posted as example.
The paint quality and interiors shouldn't be compromised in any situation.
Sometimes the things won't work and you will be forced to take shirt cuts but Di avoid them be patience but don't compromise the restoration.
Again looking fwd to the 1975 coming back to life in a new century. Best of luck mate.

Things definitely work slowly and steady and all we need to have is patience.
I'm going to use metallic paint inshaAllah of Japanese brand that lasts long. Seaken company is it I suppose. I don't know if I've spelled it correctly.

The quality of metal sheet is awesome. No comparison to new metal. 40 years in rust and stresses and still stronger than ever.. that's the beauty of old Japanese vehicle

Few days into denting then will go for the paint job InshaAllah. Can't wait to c it get completed.

After all denting, finally the coating has started.

I'm planning to use the same engine but changing the gear to 5 gear. If I don't get the performance and economy I'm thinking of in 3k and 5 gear , I might change the engine as well but that will b decided later.

Any suggestions on use of 5k or 7k engine?? What about the efi also ??

I will be using both petrol and cng. Planning to use tandem cylinders in the trunk. Economy is what I would be looking so which engine will be suitable for this ride ? Either 5 gear with 3k would suffice or does engine needs changing?
