Kenwood 718 speakers ! They good?

718's are way too old.. I would consider Infinity or JBL GTO's rather than kenwood 718. And come on guys, its not the work of speakers to produce bass/treble, subs are for bass while tweeters are for treble. Don't expect these things from 6*9's.

... try the new Infinity Reference thats now avaialble in the market. Sound realli pleasant!

718 is better then GTO series, ...... that might be my personal taste, but i felt that, also JBL GTo isn't in gud shape then 718 .

if u can put some more then go for JBL power series as recommended by ahsan1702 before, they are gud, but again in this catagory poineer have some very gud speakers , dont rem the model but they worth abt 6000 in market, really kooL

plus i want ur advice,i ve a balenco 2005 origional pioner pre...im think abt buying any ov the above speakers with a fm modulater (cos i want to lisen my songz 4m my usb)..

6x9 is the size in inches
component means,mid base, mid range and tweeters etc are all seperate components. not fixed in one body.

usually components are of higher quality, and are supplied with external crossovers; this results in cleaner sound. also increases power handling.

seperate tweeter mid range means u can place than at differant locations and experiment with sound stage and imaging
