As you are owner of Kia Clasic I want to take advantage of this. I want to buy this car, can you tell me from which Company fitted CNG started and is power window / power steering if it is from which year. At the last is July 2001 is with Company fitted CNG and if car is in excellent condition what should be reasonable price.

I saw a maroon colour July 2001 Kia 140000km driven Islamabad number, after barganning final demand is 305K. Please give your valuable consultation.

Subject: Chasis Plates issue (URGENT PLZZ)

I have an important consideration for kia classic. Does any one know that Kia Classic has two chasis plates, one is at the back side of air filter chamber (Above the embosed chasis number on body)and one is on the extreme right side. but in most of the Kis classic cars i have found only one plate. What is the issue? Can anyone tell me about this??

Mine has the numbers of both of these locations... as far as the number is there and not tampered with i think there shouldnt be any problem.... but if there was a placeholder for the other plate as well.... then it can be fishy...

@ omeriqbal83! Ummm guess that is a difference between a NGV (company fitted CNG) and a non-NVG version.

for how much u can get a decent AC / CNG car in khi plus wat abt parts availability ( its ok as far as they r available no matter 2$ more than mehran or whatever ) and 1 more stupid question.. do u guys think parts will be available for next 5 yrs ?

The future cannot be predicted and 5 years is a lot of time, anything can happen.

But even though this car is not in production and you can still get spare parts so i think it will continue to be available in the long run as well. Rest Allah knows better about the future. We can only talk about the experience of past and the conditions and circumstances of present

well i guess u can tell abt this... like u can say corolla, civic, cultus (same yr) parts will be available for next 5 yrs

You cannot say for them too.... true there is a history that supports the claim that they will be there for the next 5 years and so will be Kias parts.... but my point referred to uncertainty of future... not any car in particular But surely, parts were there, are there and will remain there:)

Sorry I didnt post this earlier. I would have but was pretty tense as Karachi city has been under fire (again) with violence everywhere and didnt get a change to visit PW.

So yeah, I checked the 2 serial number plates when I got off from work. Yeah, there are 2 of them apparently. The one thats behind the air-filter has the engine number details etc, while the other one has the chassis number and the serial numbers for the 2 CNG cylinders (if your car is FF CNG from Dewan). It also has the CNG cylinder capacity (54L) and also the last date the cylinders were tested. Neat, and well, I guess its time for me to get my cylinders checked
