You do know that Cultus is also for 1.85 mil now and Honda city base model is 2.3 mil now

Us lihaaz se aap khud sooch lain achi build quality ki achi company ki picanto log lain gay ya nai for 2 mil that has way more features than local crap right now

That makes Cultus's price insane too. Honestly, unless you really want a 0 meter car, in these market conditions, buying something like a 2014-2015 Civic or a Grande for ~2.2 million is the way to go. No matter how good a Picanto is, it won't be a Grande or Civic.

All cars are now overpriced to due dollar depreciation and unjust price increases from the manufacturers, and extra taxes on cars ab banda kia karay.

Most logo ka mindset yeh hota hai k 0 meter gaari li tou minimum 5 saal koi kaam nai nikalay gi so thats why they go for 0 meter car warna 2mil mein Mark X bhi mil jaati hai jiski apni hi baat hai

Used cars mein masla yeh hai k humara awam gaari ko khota reri ki tarah chalatay hain abuse kartay hain so finding a good used car is a khawari too jis k liye most people aernt ready so they go for the easy solution k new 0 meter car le lo

A mint condition city can be bought at that price point but then it will be missing out in safety (Airbags/ SRS/ ELR/ crumple zones).
Dont know if Picanto will offer all those safety stuff !

Brother the main constraint here is that people arent willing to go out of way or take risks. Everyone wants to play safe, buy Tiota or Hunnda or Soozki and yet complain about them ripping them off or not serving well.
I have seen ppl choose soozki hatchbacks over FAW V2 and choose Tiota and Hunnda sedans over Soozki Ciaz when clearly both these new cars were much better and cheaper than their overpriced and underfeatured counterparts from popular brands.
And Karma is everywhere, now look at ppl going crazy after FAW V2 which is same as is was 4yrs ago but last yr it was 1070000PKR and now its crossing 1.5mPKR mark and same is happening with Ciaz.
So no point, consumer mentality and buying thought process is kinda weird over here !!!

yes thats what i wanted to convey...2 m is hell of amount for hatchback...whether its cultus or kia. there are options like gli 16 model, xli 18 model , city 17-18 model etc. people should boycott hatchbacks so that features and price tune up ....

Ppl who want peace of mind and want to keep the car for long time will definitely prefer a 0 meter car with 4year, 1Lac km warranty with good features, good shape and small size especially in Karachi where there is enormous traffic...
Also don't forget that price is not the only factor, fuel consumption is another. If one car gives 10kmpl and the other 18-20kmpl then u can easily save many lac Rs in just 5 years depending in how much u drive it... Hence we should keep all factors in mind not just one or two

I think we should support new entrants as that would increase competition which will result in improvement of quality and price for all brands. The reason that cars are so highly priced in Pakistan despite less features is only due to lack of competition and the monopoly of big 3..

Just called KIA township motors, the booking is bit delay, will start my mid September.
