Picture can say many things but it actually is cramped from backseat and I am not a potential buyer of any of the 2 but I had visited and seen in person also have owned Cultus for 10 days in 2018

I have sat in both cars at the back at showrooms.

Being 5'8", front and rear leg room are both comfortable in cultus. However, in picanto rear leg room, my legs were already fully touched to the front seat. I found entry and exit also a bit difficult

Did anyone face issues with Kia stealerships?

They are charging exorbitant labor charges for Picanto's periodic maintenance under the threats of warranty upkeep! Why do you need to get catalytic converter cleaned inspected at every 5000km and cleaned at 10000km? KLM needs to look at it or else they'll soon face extinction like the previous 2 terms!

CC cleaning they are saying because of fear of CC failure due to low quality fuel. Again does not make sense to charge customer for it but this is what it is. I am also hearing the dealer want the CC cleaned at their facility else warranty claim will not be entertained although in some cases warranty claim are already difficult to claim for other issues.

Personally in my opinion, regardless of whatever chemical they use for cleaning CC, it maybe lowering the life of CC anyway. They say it's not a corrosive products for cleaning with neutral PH.. but again God knows..

An individual went through 5k km PM today at Kia Samaa, Lahore and paid 6kRs for Oil / Oil Filter and Air Filter prices as labor was complimentary. He was further quoted an insane 21kRs for 10k km inspection (which seems a bit exaggerated though and needs confirmation) with the following breakdown:

1. Oil / Oil Filter / Air Filter: 6KRs
2. Cabin Filter: 5KRs
3. Cat cleaning: 5KRs
4. Other Labor: 5KRs

Another video is making rounds on social media about KLM quality issues, this time it's a manual Picanto and seems to have a gearbox issue, what's your take on it @fazalwahab11375?

I already have that video in which there is gear slipping in 2nd and 4th.. I am already trying to reach out to the owner to have his version of the issue as well as what dealer did on his complaint. There is also issue with the the central console , with some quality and fitment problems which dealer already declined to fix. I will update you once I get in touch with the owner via my sources.

Again this is a local technical bulletin by KLM. Nothing like that in any other markets.

To me this is BS , because I have never seen any vehicle going for a CC cleaner evey 10K kilometers. This is an additional cost which owners need to pay.

By the way the machine and the chemical agents are Chinese origin. If this process and machine is so good, we would see it in other parts of the world BUT nothing like that.

@fazalwahab11375 why not put this matter in front of the regional heads mentioned in the bulletin to get the official response as well.
That way there will be record of official correspondence instead of hearsay from individuals and dealerships.
This is a serious matter which needs to be raised with the higher ups.

Both of the issues have been resolved under warranty by KIA Defence.

All dealerships (Honda, Toyota and Suzuki) are actually steelerships in Pakistan, but look like KLM is on way to set new records. Every 5000 kms CC cleaning & charges 5K, cabin filter price 5K Goshh...Are we talking about a middle class hatchback or a luxury SUV.
