I blv so. Cultus seats are somewhat lesser quality and u can push your knees a lot into them which may give a sense of more legroom but the driver would be pretty uncomfortable.
I must say the difference of quality between cultus and picanto is day and night. Looks are subjective , but picanto does offer a better place to be in.
I can't express how much I dislike the cultus seats. Fuel econ on cultus is much better though, so I hear. But if u want auto than u have to compromise on fuel economy.

I am interested in getting a Picanto. I have a few queries and I would like to know what owners of Picanto have to say based on their experience with Picanto so far,

1. I live in a hilly area so would like to know how does Picanto perform in hilly areas and how much its economy gets hit. If any one has any info, that would be really helpful
2. I read somewhere on FB that the headlight doesn't give a good visibility? It is true? If yes, any recommended solution?
3. Can it accomodate 3 persons in the rear seat if front seat are somewhere in the middle?

I would be thankful to you for your help in understanding the picanto better.

It performs well on hilly areas. If you ain't in a hurry to go somewhere it will give u a fine mileage even on hilly area. On saltrange steeps it had no problem maintaining a good speed with a light foot, 3 adults 2 kids and 2 small but heavy suitcases in the trunk.
3 adults can fit in, the center one will be a bit cramped is all.
Headlamp is not bad. It's a bit higher so the beam is also higher. It is adjustable though. There isnt much diff in light wrt a city or any other non lens headlight.

The issue is not just about how much bigger a person can fit but also there has to be space between end of rear seat and start of front seat so that person can move a little more freely. Looking at this video, the guy had difficult time trying to move in picanto. He had to twist his feet to move it because his feet were touching both front and rear seats at the same time

My point was, in any hatchback you have to compromise with rear legroom. Even in Cultus my knees touch with front seats. Swift has similar issues aswell.

Guys I live in karachi, and the people of karachi would know how bad are karachi roads...
So suggest me will kia picanto drive great on them...??

Is it ok to purchase Picanto MT? I like shifting gears manually. I am not fond of any kind of automatic transmission because its boring.

Just an FYI I have driven both manual and automatic transmission cars.

You can expect 13-14

Because the only advantage cultus has over picanto is better fuel economy

At highway its more than 15 but in local route not more than 13-14

Salam all Picanto owners here... How's ur experience of this car in automatic till now.

My friend is getting himself a new one by feb\march and he is looking for its full cover, as the car Will be parked outside on street.... I heard fibre cloth material covers are good and doesn't let paint fade around the corners .... Is it correct?

Pls recommend some reliable shops in Karachi and cloth material that is not harsh on the body
