Welcome onboard, dear Kia Pride is not bad as you heard... Its a very good car, very spacious, powerful, comparatively comfortable and reliable. Fuel consumption is not bad even, My car runs 185 km in 55 kg CNG on highway.
About the Parts, I never got any troubles getting the parts, get them from Tariq Road easily .. there is Super Autos, he has everything needed. Even if you are looking for something Qabli you can get it from the Plaza easily...
Recently, I replaced some parts as I mentioned above due to overheating, even though these replacements were not required .. just a radiator service and gasket change was required. Prices are so reasonable I was never amazed.
Now I should tell you the other side, on the whole good Mechanics are really hard to find not just for Kia but for all ... its all about supervising the work of the mechanic.
About Resale, yes there is a slight problem. Lets say if you bought it in 200k you might not get exact figure in return but its not like it is hard to sale .. it is sold whenever you want to.
There is a rumor that Kia Pride and Classic have Wheel Barring problem means they require change of wheel barring once in a year .. but I have faced such problem personally till now ..
