KIA lucky did one of the best marketing campaign ever done by anyone. The dull big three and Hyundai nishat never considered social media power and look how lucky group cashed it in this space. They called all the vloggers and created this amazing hype.
Sorento will definitely sell and give Fortuner a run for the money.

They have put emphasis on market this time unlike in the time of picanto and Sportage where there was no marketing at all they are trying their best to make sure that it does sell

any new product is good for the market but currently nothing helping the actual middle class buyer under 3 Million or I would say 2.5 Millions. Alsvin is fine and Yaris too but more competition is needed on the lower end of the segment.

Unfortunately, Hyundai already said they are not bothered about that segment while I dont see anything from Kia beside Picanto. I think KIA must look into an entry level sedan , although no product is available for RHD market as entry level sedan.

I think the 3 to 4 million segment from KIA might be filled with another crossover . lets see.

The only other upcoming middle class segment car is the proton saga for now and it doesn’t look to be very bright tbh
I hope a smaller crossover is launched by Kia it will be a good addition to market but for some reason I personally don’t see that happening

So now since the cat is mostly out of the bag with Pakwheels giving the first look, can share some further details here, since I was invited to the PowerPlay event.

Here are the new colors, which I feel are quite exciting:

Understand that the video will not answer a lot of questions you guys might have, so please shoot em here - will try and address.

Believe we will be able to see the car and enjoy a test drive on all 32 dealerships across Pakistan starting the 19th of Feb.

Even though the V6 is a BEAST and I haven't seen anything in its class in PK in CKD's, I will probably be getting the AWD (stuck between Panthera and Espresso), mainly because feature set is the same, car has ample power, and will probably save me about PKR 1.5M in price + registration.

Of course, all will depend on pricing, which will be revealed Friday.

I’m considering panthera in awd as well I was thinking of white before but when I saw it a bit more closely it gives a more van type look so either going with panthera or the blue colour which was shown in pakwheels video but most probably going with panthera the only thing left in my decision is pricing and i hope they keep it reasonable if so then 2.4 AWD will definitely be the more popular variant

if we assume the prices of Kia Sportage and Sorento in Us and add the same here in Pakistan, Sorento price would be around 6.6 mpkr to 7 mpkr i guess.

Clear White, Cherry Black, Sparkling silver, Mercury blue, Sunset Red, Rich Espresso, Panthera Metal

You'll be able to google the Sorento in all these colors to get an idea.

Mercury blue or panthera metal is what I’m stuck at silver and white make it look like a van red and espresso are nice but not my taste and black is a bit dull
