Sportage does not have a CVT. Conventional auto which is reasonably responsive. I also have a Civic X 1.8 from work and frankly speaking, the difference in transmission response is not significant. Grande’s is superior to both.

also moved from Grande FL. Of course Sportage is a better car in many aspects but the few things I miss about the Corolla is its super responsive and smooth CVT,

Sportage feels underpowered as compared to grande?

That's what bothers me n keeping me from upgrading...

I guess there's a huge difference between acceleration of grande n sportage, right.

Guys sportage fwd or proton X70 fwd. I really like the shape of x70 but the delivery time is July but while sportage delivery time is april.

I wouldn’t say huge but it is significant. Waise it is expected as they are two different category vehicles.
Sportage is heavy and the 2 L NA engine does not have the same power to weight ratio as the Grande.
It’s not a slouch by any means but comparatively it is not as responsive.

I was told delivery can be anytime in the next 10-15 days as production has begun and AWDs and FWDs are rolling out

Haven't received the car yet guys. The sales person called me yesterday afternoon that it was someone else's car.

However he has shared the car invoice with me dated 31st October. The car has still not arrived at dealership.

Lets see what happens. I will post an update on it when I have any news (tomorrow hopefully) :frowning

No it doesn't. The two major things you will miss shifting from Grande are .....
1. Poor braking
2. Lesser performance

Other than that, it is heads and shoulders above Corolla and Civic in every sense

Company stance is: i promised delivery month X, kibors 60 days start from the tentative delivery month.

Meri abhi yehi larai chal rahi unsay. Im saying i paid full on april 7th, pay me kibor for 98 days. They said k niklo yahan say i wrote tentative delivery aug and august say within 60 days mei delivery kar di and this is our policy. I said i dont care what your policy is, either give me an SRO/law over-writing the auto policy clause or just pay up.

Yes.....I find it horrible.... Others might disagree with me but the braking is really really poor...pedal is way too soft and brake engages very low down the pedal

I agree. I am always unsure if im pressing the paddle hard enough or not because woh feedback nahi hai jo corolla mei thi. I dont know, pehli dafa break lagai tau the difference was very obvious.
