When is the ATF for the Sportage supposed to be replaced, and can we use Havoline etc's regular ATF?

Yes you can use other brand ATF, however do check the specifications of the ATF required on your car manual. you need to match the compliance for your car from the intended brand and can use it accordingly.

Budget? If you’ve had good experience with the current ones, you can replace with same. You will probably get a good price from the market.
If tight in budget, try general’s option in Sportage size.
If you can spend a bit, then try Yokohama AE61. Very good CUV / Crossover tire with reasonable price vs the top premium ones like Michelin primacy 4+ or Continental PC6 or 7 if you can find them.

I recently purchased a used 2020 Kia Sportage AWD with 61k on ODO. Had it inspected by Pakweels, and it scored a 9.7 rating. While I’m not 100% sure how reliable that rating is, I’d appreciate some guidance regarding this car, especially since I’m switching from Honda/Toyota, mostly at my wifes pressure

I’ve read a lot about fire issues with Kia/Hyundai vehicles. Not that it wasn’t a major concern when I bought my Civic X because that car had similar incidents in Pakistan (in fact, more so than Kia or Hyundai). However, I’d like to know what specific things I should watch out for with the Sportage. The previous owner maintained it well and provided all the service history, but I couldn’t find any record of an HCEU kit replacement (if that’s whats its called), which I believe might be linked to these fire issues.

Nuksan or Hifazat tou sab Allah kay haath mein ha, but generally is it safer car in this regard.

Kia kings gates "put" a whistle sound in my front brakes from the last 4 maintenance and neither they accept it nor they are able to repair it, believe me its a shame to hear this sound on reverse as its a so called 8 million SUV. i am sure they used an oily sand paper on my brake pads, however they never accepted their fault and keep minting "schedule maint service charges" while threatening about warranty

I went get the oil change and they also did periodic maintenance in which they opened the brakes and cleaned them.
Since then the car steering wheel is vibrating while driving and at idle also and when I brake at high speed the steering vibrate and brake pedal also vibrate.
I took the car after few weeks they were like the car tyres are expired and gotten hard that’s why the car is vibrating. They said they will put new tyres balance the wheels and do alignment on the car then the vibration will stop.

I'm having zero dealership experience but can't you deny services or they would void your warranty BS stuff like that? Most of dealerships are labeled as stealerships as they try to up sell you unecessary services which you do not need at all.

Khair let's cut to the chase. I would recommend you to change dealerships please as the one you were visiting is bullsh*ting you with now NEW stuff. Or even better take it to better take it to reputable workshop not roadside mechanic. And don't worry as long as you do not replace parts and touch electrical stuff your warranty won't be voided.

If it were tyres problem then why they started vibrating all of a sudden after 'services' you availed.
They are trying to milk you out as much as possible.

My car warranty has finished in this month so I don’t care. They told me because my tyres have expired has it has been 5 years since I have bought the car the tyres have gotten hard and the tyre pressure was 35 psi they deflated the tyre pressure to 32 since then if I am driving on a smooth good road then there is no vibration.
They were like the tyres are old and the pressure is high the tyres have become hard that’s why it is causing vibration.
This was the first and last time I am taking my car to Kia dealership.

I want to switch from KIA Sportage that i bought recently on Aug 2024.
Kindly share the feedback of oxhan x7, is there anyone here who has switched from sportage to oshan.
And how is the market value of sportage now a days, i have white edition driven 2500km only. what could be the price.
Any more advices regarding this matter. kindly suggest please
