Is anybody having a problem where the climate control automatically turns fresh air on and off.... my car seems to switch to fresh air on its own.... is there anyway to stop this?

tucson has a bit more feature, sportage has much better interior quality. looks are your own choice. get whatever has better dealer network and is has no "own" money

It’s not a problem. It’s a feature for better air circulation but in Pakistan due to poor air quality we have to toggle it again and again.

To cancel or reset the Auto Defogging System

Press the front windshield defroster button for 3 seconds when the ignition switch is in the ON position. When the Auto Defogging System is canceled, ADS OFF symbol will blink 3 times and the ADS OFF will be displayed on the climate control information screen.

(I did this and the "issue" has been largely resolved. You need to keep this ADS OFF or the car would automatically keep trying to shift to fresh air to keep the wind screen clear of any potential fog buildup.)

Bro it's Kia Sportage feature and can be adjusted/Calibrated from dealership if not required. I have done my Calibration from KIA defence Motors and now all fine now...

Xulfiqar I am a Sportage FWD owner, upgraded from Civic. After reading your posts I can see a clear bias at your end against the Sportage. Fact is I like it and find it much more functional than the Civic. No problem absolutely with ground clearance. Fuel economy same as Civic in City and 10% higher on motorway.

All of that is good.

Real problem will arise and you'll start swearing at Kia when some issue will happen in the car.. parts availability, as you have to wait weeks to months for a shipment from Korea. Reports of warranties being denied. And exorbitant regular servicing charges.

Car's decent but kia's reputation for warranties and parts isn't good.

Good News for Kia Owners. Kia has reduced service charges and also reduced parts prices... Now Air filter cost is 3500 earlier it was around 7000-8000. Now they are using Shell Oil instead of Total.

I have no idea how you are measuring it against a cheap yet succesful small economy sedan like a toyota corolla or honda civic.

Its still a small hatchback with dodgy build quality and a dealer network in Pakistan that assumes its a luxury brand.
