THese high riders have a higher center of gravity and are inherently unstable. The active traction control etc help but they can just go as far. A lot of accidents in these cars are caused due to sudden body rolls etc.
No CUV has the same driving as a sedan. it can be somewhat closer to the pkdm corolla as that is already raised but still it would be more unstable.
just look at the accidents reported on facebook fan pages, mostly the CUVs flip, which is less common in a sedan or a good hatch,
I also prefer sedans and owned a RAV4 FWD in 2014, ddnt like that one bit.
